Six To See

On this episode I talk about the best releases of 2022 and I also talk about the best releases of 2023 to look forward to. You can also find all the lists on my new blog six-to-see.jimdosite.com.

Episode 102 of Six To See. Last week, there were only six new movies that were released, this week there are a lot more new releases, so I made two lists of six movies and series to see. I’m starting with the six you really should see which includes Amsterdam, Tar and Triangle of Sadness, and I’m ending the episode with six other new releases that are also worth mentioning and seeing including Reginald the Vampire, The Redeem Team and Werewolf by Night. And there are also some great new trailers that were released.

Episode 101 of Six To See. In this week’s episode I talk about the new movies and series that were released in this last week of September. And actually this week it’s only new movies that we have and no new series, but there are good ones like Blonde, Hocus Pocus 2 and Bros. We also have some great new trailers that were released and I talk a little more about Tudum, the Neftlix global fan event that happened the weekend before.

Episode 100 of Six To See. We’re on the 100th episode, which is special, so this episode will also be a little special. Besides the Six To See of the first weeks of September, I’ll also talk about some of my favourite movies and series that I talked about on this podcast, in the last 99 episodes. But of course I will also give you six amazing movies and series that were released already in September with movies like The Woman King, Do Revenge and Don’t Worry Darling and series like The Rings of Power, season 2 of Fate: The Winx Saga and Fakes. There were also a lot of new trailers released and other movies and series news including several film festivals and D23 happening.

Episode 99 of Six To See. A little later than planned, but it's here. In this episode I talk about the movies and series that were released in August including Day Shift, Look Both Ways, She-Hulk and A League Of Their Own. I also give you new trailers that were released in August and other movies and series news.

Episode 98 of Six To See. In this episode I talk about the new releases of this first week of August. And there are some great ones like The Sandman, Bullet Train and Luck. Because I won’t be releasing another episode until the end of this month of August I also give you a look forward to the new releases of this next few weeks that I look forward to the most.

Episode 97 of Six To See. These past two weeks some great new movies and series were released. Enough to have a Six To See with six movies and one with six series that were released these past two weeks. There’s also some fun new trailers and other movies and series news that was released. And from 21 till 24 July there was the biggest convention with San Diego Comic-con.

Episode 96 of Six To See. This week we have mostly new movies like The Gray Man that was released in theatres before releasing on Netflix next week and Where the Crawdads Sing, but there’s also the newest live action series of Resident Evil that was released. We also have some great new trailers that were released and the nominations for the Emmy awards were announced.

Episode 95 of Six To See. I'm back with a new episode with the Six To See of two weeks ago and the Six To See of this week. This episode is also a little special because now that the summer officially started, I'm giving you a look forward to this summer with the best movies and series you can't miss this summer.

Episode 94 of Six To See. Last episode that just was released was about the new releases of the past two-three weeks, while on this episode I talk about the new releases of the past week. This time it’s a shorter episode, because I don’t have a lot of new trailers and other news to talk about, most of it I already talked about in the previous episode. But we have some amazing new movies and series that were released that you really can’t miss. We have season 3 of The Umbrella Academy that’s finally here, the amazing movie Elvis and The Man From Toronto. And I already give you a look forward to next week’s releases because next weekend I have to work again and won’t be able to release a new episode until the week after.

Episode 93 of Six To See. A little later than planned, here is the episode of Six To See with the new releases of the past two-three weeks. We had amazing new series like Ms. Marvel and the newest season of Love, Victor, but also a lot of great new movies like Jurassic World: Dominion, Hustle, Lightyear and Spiderhead. Also some great new trailers and other movies and series news was released these past few weeks.

Episode 92 of Six To See. I’m back with another episode full of amazing new releases. We have season 3 of The Boys that is finally here, Crimes of the Future is officially out in theatres now after premiering at the festival of Cannes and we also have the new movie Fire Island that was released this week. We also have some great new trailers and the winners of this year’s Film Festival of Cannes are known.

Episode 91 of Six To See. This week was finally the week that season 4 of Stranger Things was released. We had to wait a while for it but now it’s here. Also finally released is Top Gun: Maverick, and the newest Star Wars series Obi-Wan Kenobi. One of the biggest film festivals is still going on until this weekend where a lot of big movies premiered and we also got some great new trailers that were released again.

Episode 90 of Six To See. This week's episode is a double one because last week I couldn't release one. So on this week's episode I talk about the releases of last week and the ones of this week. There are a lot of great new movies and series that were released these past two weeks. From movies like Operation Mincemeat, Men and Senior Year and series like Candy, The Essex Serpent and the newest volume of Love, Death + Robots, there’s something for everybody. During these last two weeks we also had some great new trailers that were released including the very first teaser for the Avatar sequel. We also got new trailers for upcoming Belgian movies and some fun news about upcoming Netflix projects. And one of the biggest film festivals started this week: the festival of Cannes.

Episode 89 of Six To See. This week we finally had the Doctor Strange sequel, season 2 of The Wilds was released and some other great movies and series like The Staircase, The Takedown and Along For The Ride. And there’s also some great new trailers that were released.

Episode 88 of Six To See. This week we once again have some amazing new movies and series that were released like Shining Girls, Crush and The Survivor. We also have some great new trailers and two series that had their last few episodes released this week.

Episode 87 of Six To See. After technical difficulties, here is the episode of Six To See that was supposed to release a week earlier. In this episode I talk about some amazing new movies and series like season 2 of Russian Doll and The Flight Attendant and also The Bad Guys and The Northman. There were also a lot of great new trailers that were released that week and even more Belgian movies that were announced to be premiering at one of the biggest film festivals.

Episode 86 of Six To See. Like I said in last week’s episode, one of the movies in the Six To See of this week is the newest Fantastic Beasts movie. I went to see the movie myself earlier this week on Monday and really liked it. Also released this week are Father Stu, Outer Range and Anatomy of a Scandal. And we finally got the newest trailer for season 4 of Stranger Things!

Episode 85 of Six To See. This week we have some amazing new movies releasing including the sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog, Ambulance and All The Old Knives. We also have new seasons of iCarly and Elite and some great new trailers as well.

Episode 84 of Six To See. It’s the end of March, the beginning of April and spring, and once again we have some amazing new movies and series that were released. We have Morbius that was finally released in theatres after being postponed several times, I saw the movie myself already, we also have the movie Moonshot and the Marvel series Moon Knight that were released and some other great new movies and series like The Bubble and The Girl From Plainville. So a lot of great things to watch from this week.

Episode 83 of Six To See. While last week there were a lot of new releases, this week it’s a little more quiet again with just enough new releases for the Six To See. And they are good releases. We have Bridgerton that is back with its second season, Halo the series is here and the new movie The Lost City. We also have some great new trailers and some new pictures of the upcoming fourth season of Stranger Things.

Episode 82 of Six To See. I’m back with a new episode and this time there are a lot of amazing movies and series that were released. So besides the six movies and series you should really see, I have some other ones as well that are worth talking about. This week we have series like DMZ and WeCrashed and movies like Deep Water and Windfall with also some great new trailers as well. I’ll also talk some more about the Filmfestival of Ostend that ended last weekend and about the two awards shows that happened last weekend as well.

Episode 81 of Six To See. Two weeks ago it was a quiet week with not a lot of releases, last week there were a lot of them, and now this week it’s quiet again with not that many new movies and series that were released, but just enough to have a Six To See. I had a very busy week which is why this episode is releasing a few days later. It was the filmfestival here in my hometown Ostend, so every night I was at the movies, but now it’s coming to its end and I had just enough time to make an episode of Six To See for the weekend. This week we have new movies like The Adam Project and Turning Ted that were released and the second season of Upload is also here. We also got some great new trailers and of course I’ll also talk a little bit about the Filmfestival of Ostend which kept me very busy this week.

Episode 80 of Six To See. Last week was a quiet week with a short episode, but this week is differen because there are a lot more of amazing new movies and series that were released like The Batman, Diabolical and The Dropout. On March 4 there’s also the filmfestival in Ostend that started with the opening movie Nowhere and there are some great new trailers as well. There were also two award shows that happened this past week which I'll talk about.

Episode 79 of Six To See. In this week’s episode I’ll be talking about the new releases of this week and of the last few days of February that are coming. It’s a quiet week with not a lot of news and new releases so it’s going to be a shorter episode, but there’s still enough to have a six to see. We have the new season of Killing Eve that is coming this Sunday, the new Vikings series is here and some new movies were also released like Cyrano and No Exit. There’s also some great new trailers and we got big news about Stranger Things.

Episode 78 of Six To See. This week we have some great movies like Uncharted with also comebacks with Texas Chainsaw Massacre that is back after 50 years and the fresh prince of Bel-Air is back in Bel-Air. We once again have some amazing new trailers that were released and there is news about the upcoming Star Wars series Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Episode 77 of Six To See. I’m back with another great episode of Six To See with some fun new movies and series. We have Death on the Nile that was finally released after being postponed several times, Dollface is back with its second season and Zoë Kravitz is starring in the new movie Kimi. There are some great new trailers as well and Netflix released a fun video with a first look at all the movies they will release this year which are a lot. We also got the nominations for both the BAFTAs and Oscars that were announced this week.

Episode 76 of Six To See. In this first week of February some amazing series were released, from some new ones like Pam & Tommy, to some of them being back with a second season like Raising Dion and Raised by Wolves. We also have some great new trailers for video game movie Uncharted and series Halo with also news about the Sundance Film Festival that ended this weekend.

Episode 75 of Six To See. In this last week of January some amazing new movies and series were released. We have some new series like The Gilded Age and The Afterparty, some new movies like The Fallout and Home Team, and Snowpiercer is back with its third season. We also got some fun movies and series news including about the sequel of Murder Mystery and new about the Sundance Film Festival that is happening right now.

Episode 74 of Six To See. This week is a quiet week with not that many new movies and series, but enough to have Six of them to see. This week we have the first part of the fourth and last season of Ozark that was released, the movie Redeeming Love and the new series Single Drunk Female. There’s also a new Belgian series I talk about and some fun new trailers including one for the newest Marvel series Moon Knight and other movies and series news including news about Shadow and Bone.

Episode 73 of Six To See. In this second week of 2022 we got some amazing movies and series that were released. We have season 2 of Euphoria that finally premiered, we have the new DC shows Peacemaker and Naomi, and the new movie The Tragedy of Macbeth that was released for streaming this week. We also got some great new trailers and we know the winners for the Golden Globes that happened last Sunday.

Episode 72 of Six To See. Happy New Year! It’s a new year, but there are once again a lot of great new movies and series to look forward to and some of them were already released in this first week of 2022 like the movies The 355 and The Tender Bar. There are also some series that released last week in the last week and last day of 2021 that I’ll talk about like the newest Star Wars series The Book of Boba Fett and the fourth season of Cobra Kai. And this week we got the Harry Potter reunion which was a great New Year gift.

Happy New Year! It’s the last day of 2021, so perfect time to look back at the amazing movies and series that were released this year. There were a lot of them, so I made a list of 60 movies and series with 30 movies and 30 series that I liked that were released this year. I’ll also be looking forward to some amazing movies and series that are releasing next year.

Episode 70 of Six To See. Merry Christmas! Happy holidays! It’s Christmas time and I hope you will enjoy this time of the year with good food and good company. Next week on the last day of 2021 I’ll be releasing the best of 2021 episode, but now first there is this week’s episode which is a Christmas special. I’ll be giving you Six Christmas and holiday movies and series to see that were released this year and last year that are perfect to get in the spirit, but there are also other amazing movies and series releasing this week, so I’ll also give you a normal Six To See as well. And there are also some fun new trailers that were released this week for great things like the Harry Potter reunion and the new season of Euphoria.

Episode 69 of Six To See. This is the last normal episode of this week, because next week there will be the Christmas special, with also of course a Six To See because there are still some amazing new movies and series releasing next week and then on the last day of 2021 the best of episode is releasing with my favourite movies and series that released this year. But now we still have this last normal episode which includes some great movies and series like the newest Spider-Man movie, season 2 of The Witcher and Nightmare Alley. Also some fun new trailers were released like the one for the next Fantastic Beasts movie and we got the nominees that were announced for the 2022 Golden Globes.

Episode 68 of Six To See. One more week until the newest Spider-Man movie, two more weeks until Christmas and three more weeks until New Year’s Eve. There is something to look forward to every week of the month, and I’ll be doing a Christmas special and best of episode later this month, but first there are two more normal episodes. This week we have some great new movies and series that released like West Side Story, Encounter and the Sex and the City revival And Just Like That. There are also some great new trailers that were released and some fun news about Marvel and the MCU.

Episode 67 of Six To See. After a break of several weeks now I’m back again with a new episode. In this episode I will talk about the movies and series that were released these past few weeks and also the ones that were released in this first week of December. I already talked about some of them in the episode that was released before my break like Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Cowboy Bebop, but there are also some other movies and series that were released this week that I’ll talk about like The Power of the Dog, season 2 of Alex Rider and the very last part of Money Heist aka La Casa De Papel. These last few weeks there were also some great trailers that were released and other fun movies and series news I’ll talk about.

Episode 66 of Six To See. This episode is kinda special, first of all because it's the 66th episode of Six To See, so 666, which is the number of the Devil. Because of that I'll give my favourite movies and series that have to do with the devil and demons in the episode. And this episode is the last one of this month of November because I'm going on a little break until the start of December. This week once again there are some amazing movies and series like Red Notice, Passing and Clifford the Big Red Dog. Also some great new trailers and some movies and series to look forward to that are releasing in the next few weeks.

Episode 65 of Six To See. This week is the first week of November, that means that next month is the last month of 2021 and that we’re almost in 2022. But for now we’re still in November and there are a lot of amazing movies and series releasing, especially a lot of great movies including Marvel’s Eternals, Spencer and The Harder They Fall. We also have new seasons of Dickinson and Big Mouth and there is some great new trailers that were released as well.

Episode 64 of Six To See. I had an amazing birthday weekend and saw Venom Let There Be Carnage on my birthday which I’ll talk about in the episode. Last weekend I celebrated my birthday and this weekend we’re also celebrating because it’s Halloween, so I’ll also give some recommendations to watch this weekend to celebrate. In the Six To See this week we have a lot of great movies and series. There are some horror movies like Last Night in Soho and Antlers, with also the prequel Army of Thieves and the fifth and last season of Insecure. I also talk about Film Fest Ghent that ended last weekend and there is some good news about Dune.

Episode 63 of Six To See. This episode is kinda special because tomorrow October 22 I’m celebrating my birthday, and I can celebrate it with one of my favourite series that is back with a second season: Locke & Key. We also have some amazing movies like The French Dispatch, Night Teeth and Ron’s Gone Wrong and I also talk about DC Fandome that happened last weekend with a lot of fun DC content that was announced and showed like the new trailer for The Batman. The throwback has also to do with DC with the throwback series celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Episode 62 of Six To See. Halloween is almost there and you can see that with the new movies and series that are releasing. Some scary and creepy movies and series are releasing this week like season 3 of You and Halloween Kills, but we also have new seasons of DC shows Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow. This week there are a lot of new movies and series releasing that besides the Six To See there are a lot of other ones to see. There is also some great Belgian news with a new movie and series that are here and Film Fest Gent started this week.

Episode 61 of Six To See. This week it's 007 time with the new James Bond movie No Time To Die with also new series like On My Block season 4, CSI: Vegas and Billion Dollar Code. CBS is also back with new shows and we're celebrating Global James Bond Day with a throwback to the first movie of the franchise.

Episode 60 of Six To See. This episode is kinda special because this is the 60th episode of Six To See. Today is also the last day in September, so starting tomorrow it’s spooky season that starts. Summer is also officially over, so now there is more time to stay in to enjoy watching movies and series. And there are a lot of great new movies and series releasing. Last week it was a lot of series releasing, while this week it’s mostly new movies. And like I teased last week, this week is the one that Dune is in the Six To See. Also in the Six To See this week is Venom: Let There Be Carnage, The Many Saints of Newark, The Addams Family 2 and The Guilty with also one other new series in the Six To See. Besides these six there are also some other movies and series releasing which I’ll be talking about and also in the episode is the global fan event from Netflix: Tudum.

Episode 59 of Six To See. This week we have a lot of amazing new seasons releasing of several series like Doom Patrol and Dear White People with also some great movies including Dear Evan Hansen. There are so many good movies and series releasing, that I have a second alternative Six To See list that I made, so this week there is double the fun.

Episode 58 of Six To See. This week we finally get the third season of Sex Education with also some new movies like The Eyes of Tammy Faye and The Starling that both premiered in Toronto this week. I'll be talking about the Toronto International Film Festival and also about who won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival last weekend. Also some great new trailers were released this week including for the next upcoming Marvel series Hawkeye. And the throwback movie of this week is one that released exactly ten years ago today.

Episode 57 of Six To See. This week some amazing movie are releasing including Kate, The Card Counter and The Voyeurs. There are also some series like the sixth and final season of Lucifer and the newest season of American Crime Story. This week there’s also great new trailers that released and the Venice Film Festival is still happening which I will be talking about.

Episode 56 of Six To See. Summer is officially over, September started and that means back to school and back to work for a lot of people. Because of that I’ll be talking about my favourite back to school movies later in the episode as a throwback. Summer is over, but that doesn’t mean that there are no great movies and series releasing, on the contrary, there are some amazing movies and series releasing including the Marvel movie Shang-Chi, the newest Cinderella movie, the new series Only Murders in the Building that premiered and the first part of season 5 of Money Heist that is releasing. So a lot of great movies and series to see again this week. There is also a lot of great new trailers that were released and other interesting news that was announced.

Episode 55 of Six To See. On this week’s episode I talk about the anime movie The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, the horror movie Candyman and the new miniseries Clickbait. Also some great new trailers were released including for two upcoming Marvel movies I really look forward to. We also got news about Netflix and Never Have I Ever and there are some other series to see besides the Six To See.

Episode 54 of Six To See. This week once again there are a lot of new movies releasing with also some new series like The Chair. I’ll be talking about the new Netflix movie Sweet Girl, the sci-fi movie Reminiscence with Hugh Jackman and the opening movie from Festival de Cannes Annette which releases on Amazon Prime Video this week. Also some new trailers and other news was released this week including news about upcoming movies and the new upcoming season of Sex Education.
