This 600whp E46 M3 was built by ASM and equipped with an LS7, Samsonas sequential gearbox, and some of the biggest aero you'll find on a time attack car. Pete's a regular at Barber, and has made some friend along the way. A local buddy joins the show to tell a story or 2 about Pete, and what track life is like down south.
Episode 300 - Alex Moss has gone off the deep end with his S2000. “SuperK” started as a simple build by ASMotorsports, and quickly spiraled into an engine-swapped, turbocharged, big aero, track monster. Competing in #GRIDLIFE TrackBattle Time Attack and One Lap of America, he’s a perennial podium contender in both. Few builds with this much pure track performance are also capable of being driven for 4000 road miles. This is definitely one of my favorite cars in the field each year. Paul Curley's wicked C5 Z06 and Luke McGrew's Viper ACR run in the Track Modified class, and battle for the top spot at any event they attend. Paul's fast immediately, often attributed to his autocross background. Luke reviews data constantly and improves lap over lap. It's a coinflip on who will win on any given day.

Episode 99 - Rick Hoback and his team of newbie Lemons Racers gets on the mic after day of of their first Lemons race at Buttonwillow a few weeks ago. Most of these guys have never been on track before but they have one hell of an experienced driver acting as crew chief. Rick is a hell of a driver and well known for his turbo C5 Corvette that he tracks, autocrosses, does standing mile stuff with. Adam cruised to and from SCCA Runoffs with his good buddy Jay Haire, organizer of the ITRexpo events, and they recorded on the way home. They talked about all sorts of stuff, and not even all of it was Honda/Acura crap. Shocking
Adam is on the rules committee for, and races in, the Super Touring series of the SCCA, so even though life got in the way of him qualifying for the 2016 runoffs, he and Jay Haire from ITRexpo made the trek to Mid Ohio sports car course to watch some racing and do a live broadcast during STL (super touring lite)Bowie and Scott Giles help with live commentary during the STL race , and Eric Kutil and Mike Taylor are interviewed post-show.excuse the exhaust noise during the race....but....we were doing a podcast during a race. so.....thats what happens.
Austin flew into town for the Gridlife Blackhawk Farms event, and stopped at Adam's for a late night hangout. The microphones came out and nearly 2 hours of randomnesss flowed. Topics from the recent events to motor homes spewed from the faces of these dorks. You should listen, because it felt like we were only talking for 12 minutes, so maybe its acceptable quality conversation.
