In the second half of the pod we dig into the text where we hear the tale of a lowly textile salesman, Gregor Samsa, who after waking up as a bug as an allegory for casual sex, doesn’t think that is a good enough excuse to call in sick to work. In Part II of III of Mary Shelley’s 1831 classic, Frankenstein, we cast Anne Hathaway as the part of the monster, Lil Franky Jr.
We hear Ted Danson and Whoopi Goldbergs origin story & smoke too many cigarettes with Thomas Jefferson Hogg. Once we finally dive into the text, we learn about Lil Franky’s origin story. We learn that having a deer-sized brain is great for learning the history of humanity, but not so good for conflict resolution.
