An apple a day keeps the doctor away...or at Smokey Acre Farm, an apple a day is not enough apples eaten with how many our tree produced this year. Charlie discusses all the apples they harvested this year and the ways they preserved them from cider to apple chips to sliced for the freezer all with the help of some very good friends.

Life Updates & The Radical Joy Project
In this short episode, Charlie talks about what is going on in her life from a bear destroying their bird feeder to a yummy cookbook inspired meal. (The cookbook is called Small Victories by Julia Turshen)
For Charlie's birthday this year and with it being pride month, she is asking for donations through her Facebook campaign for the Black Trans Women Advocacy Coalition. Please consider donating to honor the black trans women who have fought for the rights of our LGBTQIA communities.
She also discusses The Radical Joy Project's event this week for black femme healing. It is on June 28th from 6-9pm in the Loring Park area. 6: A Plastic-Free Bathroom
Mini Project Update #2
After a day of forging and laying pavers, Charlie & Kyle sit down to chat with a cold beer about the completed projects. These minisodes will touch on completed woodworking, forging, art, or home renovations projects in real time. They chat about a couple of bottle openers and a fire roasting stick that Kyle forged as well as adding pavers at the bottom of the steps of their deck.
