Umihara Kawase is a 1994 platforming puzzle game starring a school girl, Umihara Kawase, who must use her fishing rod as a very complex grappling hook to navigate tricky levels populated with giant, walking fish. There are 50 stages in total, though there are multiple paths through the game depending on how long you take.

Battle Dodgeball is a dodgeball game...starrring robots and monsters from Kamen Rider, SD Gundam, and something else I can't be bothered to look up right now. It's so bad that only two people were willing to talk about it: Cania and Tigress. This casual episode might actually be one of our best though, despite the myriad technical issues.

Wonder Project J is a 1994 adventure game/ life simulation game, starring Pino, who is definitely a real boy. Train your android boy Pino to lift weights, read books, and possibly stab people with swords. You do this by pointing him to items using the fairy Tinker as essentially a cursor, then praising or scolding him for what he does with that item. This changes his stats and available skills. 

It was developed by the Almanic Corporation, otherwise known as Givro corporation, known for such titles as Wonder Project J 2 and Cosmic Carnage. It was published by Enix, who also released the more famous game Just Breed.

It was only released in Japan, but it had a fan translation released in 2001, only 7 years later! That's what everyone (but Rudie) played.

The Book of Megadrive Arrives again with a Halloween SPOOKTACULAR. Instead of playing the game we said we were going to, we decided to make a quick fun Halloween episode that imploded under the weight of the game being too goddamn weird.

What we thought was a half finished piece of garbage turned out to be a sprawling maze of Completely Original Evil Circus imagery, with puzzles and mysteries that are still not completely known to us. Taekwondo is a Super Famicom title that was released exclusively in Japan and South Korea in 1994. The game is based around the Korean martial art of Taekwondo, featuring realistic techniques, such as kicking people in the balls until they fall over. It features nineteen fighters with their own special moves, and players are also given the option of creating their own custom fighters. The game can be played in either Japanese or Korean.

The signal lit up the sky - a newly discovered prototype SNES game was released! The SNEXploration crew is on the case and ready to fill your earholes with our regular blend of criticism, trivia, and garbage that nobody should ever be subjected to.

Atmosfear is a prototype game released in 2019, but developed in 1994, based on the VHS Board Game series Nightmare/Atmosfear. It's a platformer where an asshole interrupts you for no reason and makes weird stuff happen. And we played the heck out of it!

The Alien vs. Predator we're talking about is the first of FOUR video games about predators hunting aliens, although they are all completely unrelated and made by different companies. This game is what can loosely be called a Beat-Em-Up. You play as the predator and utterly destroy as many xenomorphs as possible using a large array of moves, such as Punch, Kick, and Laser.

Gegege no Kitarou - Fukkatsu! Tenma Daiou is an action platformer starring Kitarou, a ghost who fights other ghosts. It has some interesting features, and we manage to talk more about pokemon than we do this game anyway so it's fine.

Holy Umbrella: Dondera's Wild is, surprisingly, not based on an anime or a manga. It's about a young boy who picks up a magical umbrella and is transported to a land of talking penguins, evil robots, and overworld maps. It combines RPG and Platformer traits into something that's...basically a platformer, but with a lot of talking. and you can buy stuff. Each level consists of platforming and smacking enemies with your umbrella. You can also play as multiple characters!

It was released in 1995, developed by Naxat and Earthly Soft, and published by Naxat.
