Valentine's Over: Now What?

Valentine's Over: Now What?

Valentine's Day was a week ago from the date of publishing this episode. How is your relationship? Nonexistent? Stale? Struggling? Falling from the high of that day?

What we talk about in this episode is all about love and Valentine's Day, we disagree on its importance and what has become of it in relationships.

We discuss the Love Languages (as introduced by Gary Chapman) and speak on how to effectively communicate with your partner in their love language and why it is important to do so.

We then speak on the 7 principle pillars of love and how they important it is that they exist, albeit in varying degrees to each other.

My Father then concludes the episode by leaving a bit of advice to young couples.

What I Wish My Parents Knew Pt 1

In today's episode of the FATHER and SON podcast, we address a few things, including the entitlement mentality that comes when a parent expects to be taken care of by their Children at the cost of said children.

We then go ahead and deal with a few questions and requests sent in by our listeners and friends, on the topic of a few things that we wish our parents knew and then offer solutions on what they could do better and how they could be better parents to us.

Please do share the episode as it really helps our podcasts and thank you for listening to the end.

We discuss on New year resolutions and how to really make them stick effectively, we discuss on what to do when we are faced with difficulties and are discouraged by challenges.

 Are All White People Racists?

Are All White People Racists?

In this Episode of the podcast we take a look at oppression and the oppression happening in the world right now. We talk about how those who are in a position of power oppress others. We speak on the George Floyd case and how that those who are silent, or on the fence about these things are inadvertently siding with the oppressor.

We speak about the principle of generalisation and we talk about how white people who aren't racists, men who aren't trash and politicians who aren't corrupt are part of the exception and do not fall within the general rule.

We speak on the oppression happening in this country from the macro level, the politicians oppressing their citizens to the micro level, citizens oppressing their staff or other people who are in a less privileged position than they are. What's your take? Let us know!
