Social Fabric Chronicles

I caught up with Rebecca and Danielle - both previous guests on the Social Fabric Podcast (episode 78 and 73) to talk about the pandemic from a normal everyday life point of view.  Rebecca is just outside New York City, Danielle is in Wexford, Pennsylvania.

I was delighted to hear that the two of them got to know each other through the podcast and that once the pandemic is over they will hopefully meet  and share a glass of wine.  Strangely, we are all connected via stories of Mark Geary, Irish Musician, also a guest on the Social Fabric Podcast (episode 71)

They have two more book coming out soon, the shop is due to reopen sometime in the near future and they are still as energetic as ever, but with a great reflective sense about them both.

I bumped into Renato in Ernesto's, Rathmines, during a Mark Geary's concert.

We kept in touch and I caught up with him last week to see what it was like in Italy at the moment.
Renato lives on a few short kilometers from the epicentre of the Virus in Italy, close to Bergamo.

I have known Joakim for years and he was one of the first people I met that practiced yoga, studied Zen philosophy and spirituality.

For this episode I caught up with JuJu Jay over Zoom to discuss self isolation, the impact on his training, business and self awareness.

JuJu was one of the early guest of my Social Fabric Podcast and then he told me all about his life transformation and he new found love for running and nature.

Now, a season ultra runner, he has been helping people to discover running, where 0 to 5 km or improving a time on an ultra marathon or attempting the first long run.

I caught up with Siobhan over Zoom to discuss the challenges that the lockdown is posing to all of us.
We are in the midst of a pandemic of the Coronavirus and in Ireland, at the time of recording, we are at week three of this new reality.

Siobhan has some great advice on how to deal with working from home, isolation, lockdown fatigue and lots more.

It is refreshing to hear some sensible, workable solutions amongst the noise and pressure that a situation like this can impose on us.

Siobhan is also running some online courses in the coming weeks (15th and 22nd of April) with the LEO South Dublin.
