There are loads of songs that make you dance, but songs about dancing need to be celebrated themselves. Shakira’s signal that a song is ready is when her hips start moving of their own accord, and we really miss that feeling of dancing like you’ve got no bones at the end of a night out.

If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that hairdressers should be considered essential services.

The last few months have been a bleak time for good hair days but in celebration of the return of looking sharp we explored songs about hair with the help of Willow, Miranda Lambert, Pavement and INXS.
