Why I enjoy Solo hiking, overcoming your fears about solo hiking, safety tips, podcasting on the trail, responses to some of the questions I asked about solo hiking. Deepest condolences to a recent hiker that just lost her life. 

Mathew and Arabella are six years old and have completed 8 out of 12 14ers here in California. One of them includes Mt. Whitney. I had the pleasure of also speaking with mom, Nancy, who is so proud of her kids. You will be surprised about which trail has been their most favorite this far. They answer all of the questions that were asked by their followers. Some of you may have pictures with them on the trails! They also talk about their next trail on their list. 

I Welcome back Eddie and Daniel. Have you ever visited Yosemite National Park? Is it on your list? This was our first trip and we had an amazing time at Yosemite National Park located in California. Eddie and Daniel share their experience in Yosemite. We talk about the three different places we stayed at, different trails we hiked.  Eddie and Daniel share which one was their favorite and least favorite cabin.  They share tips and some advice if it’s your first time visiting. Our trip consisted of three nights and four days. Wish we had more time to stay longer. Yosemite is one of the most popular National Parks here in California. Half Dome is Yosemite's most iconic attraction in all of Yosemite Valley and did you know that Yosemite is home to one of the tallest waterfalls in the World? At 2,425 feet! Well, I was lucky to hike this trail and hungover too! It is no joke! If you are planning a trip to Yosemite, reservations are required to drive into Yosemite through September 30, 2021. Unless you stay within the park. Some services and facilities are limited, and shuttles are not operating due to COVID. Please make sure you visit nps.gov for more information. Come Take a F'N hike with us to place called Pauma Creek Trail. A less traveled trail with no trail marker. It is a very hard and dangerous hike up and down. Hanging on to flimsy ropes and crawling on your hands and knees. Sliding on my ass but well worth the views. Once down at the creek, you can hike up or down and find more hidden waterfalls! This hike is not recommended for kids or dogs. Listen for shout outs at the end and a very special surprise from a listener!

Podcasting with Ed Carlin on our hike to Oak Grove Trail to High Point Palomar, almost a 14-mile roundtrip hike. A very strenuous hike but with amazing views at the top! This is part of the 6 pack of peaks in San Diego County. We talk about his opinion on the new COVID Vaccine, his wife’s and I hiking adventure to El Cajon, but that’s another podcast! In this episode I am podcasting with Nancy who goes by Love the Life You Live on Instagram. She has a very interesting background. We talk about her hiking adventures and why she started hiking. She shares her adventures with her Girlfriend, Diana. Nancy talks about her first 6 pack of peaks challenge and her most favorable peak as well as her least favorite. She loves and lives her life everyday and tries to get outdoors as much as possible to de-stress. She hikes with different groups and one of them is High Hikers who I have not met. But I hear they are a fun crowd. We have a great time podcasting!

Aaliyah is about to be 6 years old. We share an F'N hike at Palomar Mountain with Mando ( our German Shephard Dog). She is a natural on podcasting. She even makes her own you-tube videos. I interview four courageous women who love the outdoors and love hiking solo. Every conversation is Fucking awesome! I ask these ladies several different questions. Some, for example; how do you feel when you hike alone, what is your biggest fear, what advice do you have for other Women who want to hike solo. We also talk about Lions (Mountain Lions) and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!! Well, no Tigers. 4 out 4 carry a libation! You will have to listen to know what they are! But, hold on to your crapper, because we also discuss about ways they handle their bathroom business out in the wilderness. Most interesting to me, was that they all pretty much had the same common advice for any Woman that wants to go venture out alone. Fuck Ya! These Women rock!

Whatever I said in my intro. Just kidding! Hiking the highest peak in SD county with an elevation gain of 2,500 feet. Carrying at least 15-20 pounds in my hiking/cooler bag. Eddie's second big peak in SD. We share this adventure with Ed Carlin and SD Crazy Hikers. We share amazing burritos and cold beers at the top! 

Listen while I prep a Michelada and give some pointers on what type of mix to use and how to prep your cup. Hiking in Temecula, California. I did not make it to the Peak. Ran into two snakes and got video of them. I should have stuck with the first trail. It never fails, my dad calls me during my hike. Had my Michelada at the top enjoying the views. This trail is partially shaded and lots of bugs. Located inside a campground. Campground is open for use. Some cuss words are used. Shout outs to recent tags. Hiking with Eddie and where the cows roam free. Shout out to Chaka 805. Getting F'N scared from a snake and a lizard. You will hear from chirping birds to bees and rattle snakes! Eddie and I have our differences on bees and rattle snake sounds. Sharing our libations at the top, enjoying our picnic while watching the cows watching us. Meet and greet a few hikers with masks.
