Welcome back to the re-launch of the Soulful Productivity podcast, where the podcast is not the only thing that's back, because Hidaia is also back as the co-host!

In this episode Atiba and Hidaia discuss their Ramadan goals for 2023, how to stay fit in Ramadan, and the effect a community feeling has on your motivation and happiness levels in Ramadan.

This is part one of a series of two episodes where Atiba will be sharing tips on how to have better Khushoo or concentration in Salah. In this part, Atiba talks about some wrong mindsets and misconceptions that we may have which prevent us from having the best Salah that we are capable of, and gives tips on how to challenge these ideas and take the first step towards having better Khushoo in our prayers.

The next part will be about practical tips that you can apply before standing in Salah, as well as during Salah, in order to start having, and maintaining, Khushoo in your prayers.

Assalamualaikum and welcome to another episode of Soulful Productivity. In this one, Atiba talks new year resolutions, the reasons they fail, the advantages of having a yearly goal setting system and two alternate methods you can use to set them. 

She also talks about how you can use the lessons you learned from failing at your resolutions to set more effective Islamic goals that are not overwhelming and don't make you feel like you just can't do it. 

Last but not the least, Atiba talks about how we can use Ramadan as a starting point for our new year's goals, and how this approach can actually be more successful and associated with the goodness of Barakah.

The book, called The Productive Muslim, is all about how you can be productive without ignoring Islam in your worldly pursuits. Atiba goes into detail about how this book introduced her to the concepts of Barakah and setting intentions in Islam and how these concepts can really help us achieve more while also connecting us with Allah more than what we ever thought was possible.

We usually have huge plans for what we will be doing to improve and increase our Ibadah in Ramadan. But how many of these things do we actually end up doing? Better yet, what goals do we stick with for the rest of the year?

Last but not the least, we exchange ideas on how we stay connected with other like-minded Muslims (with Hidaia chiming in with the struggle of finding Muslims to connect with in the US and how Clubhouse helps her with that) and do networking in general.
