The Sound of Entertainment

Chio from the Chio in the Morning show was a staple of Philadelphia radio. He has been all over the country doing radio since the 80's. He took some time to talk to me about how he got into radio and some of the funny stuff he has done on air. He explains what it means to be a Latino in the main stream radio business. 

I have to admit this guy is a genuine good guy. What you get on the radio is what you get in person. He really cares about his family and his listeners. This guy is very versatile. He can talk to you about sports, pop culture, politics or 80's Freestyle music. Please take a min and listen to this podcast with Chio  

Ok folks, for today podcast I had the opportunity to speak with  Mr. Tom Raider from WFMZ news. Did you know that Tom is a musician! He recorded some music at Blind Pigeon Record Studio up in Schuylkill Valley Pa and he shares his views on the music industry, his influences, and how the pandemic has given him a few setbacks. I hope you all enjoy this podcast as much as we did putting it together.

Today we talk to Freddy Adames, owner of Vision Bar and Lounge. He opened his bar just 2 months before the pandemic hit. He shares his experiences with what got him into owning a bar, how long it took him to get his venue together, and what he plans to do in the future with his business. The food and drink industry is the number one main supporter of the entertainment industry. You can't have one with out the other! Please take a listen to this new business owner and how he has dealt with this pandemic so far.

I met tony about a year and half ago. We hit it off right away. This guy is a great musician. He plays the drums, guitar, he can sing and rap. not bad for a guy named Anthony DelSalvatore Jr. He also host a karaoke night every Monday in AC. I asked Tony what got him into music and what he sees in his future. 

I really feel we are in the tail end of this pandemic. i hope by the summer time we can get back to gigging and entertaining our fans. I plan to talk to other musicians, sound tech and DJ in the next few weeks to see how they feel about the state of the entertainment industry, Covid, and what they plan to do when the cost is clear. 

We had a 16yr old young lady loose her life to gun violence last week. The accused is a 14 yr old boy. We came to together to see what we can do as a community to prevent this from happening. I was able to speak to a few folks at the event to get their feedback on this event. I also wanted to know how can we stop this from happening again.
