Aminé is an artist that garnered a lot of popularity with his hit single Caroline. Since then he has dropped two projects, with the latest one coming out in 2018. He is back giving us a batch of tracks. But does it Sound Proper? AND. Hip Hop and music, in general, has changed quite a bit in the past few years in regards to how we consume the music, as well as how the music is being made and what is coming out. On the podcast, I try my best to answer the question of how the internet has changed hip hop if at all.

He has had only a few singles and features under his belt, so his debut studio album would be interesting. But besides all this, Does it Sound Proper? AND. In the past decade, we have seen a significant increase in the amount of artists staying independent and having a successful music career. Is signing to a major label still a valid thing to do? I go through the pros of cons of each path and decide whether or not going solo is best or signing to a label is.

The trap sub-genre has been the dominant one in mainstream hip hop for a few years now. We are starting to see oversaturation and quantity over quality. Have we reached peak trap, or will trap live on in the mainstream for many more years to come.
