Episode 6 features an old conversation from Max's college days, when he and his co-host and friend, Nick Blessing had a phone interview with country music star Chris Lane. The conversation took place prior to Chris Lane's stop in East Stroudsburg, PA on his 2017 fall tour, where Max and NIck ended up meeting Chris. This interview ended up landing Max and Nick a national collegiate award nomination.

Max sits down with an old college buddy of his this week, Steve Harris. Steve, a former standout basketball star at East Stroudsburg University, is now playing professionally overseas in Europe, most recently in Luxembourg. The two discuss Steve's European basketball adventure, touching on his previous two stops in Europe, the difference between the European style of play and the American style, some of the cultural differences he sees overseas and more! Max sits down with poet, Twitter troll, and die hard Rangers fan, Brandon Cohen. The two talk about Brandon's writing, his writing style as well as his inspiration behind his poems. They discuss his book as well as his quarantine projects he refers to as his "zines" (zeens), which you can purchase directly from Brandon by reaching out to him via Instagram @bco04 or @bcocreative! In the debut episode of The Cut, Max and CJ Solar, a Baton Rouge native who now calls Music City home, sit down to chat. CJ discusses his LSU fandom, his journey to landing a spot on the Music Row Top 100 Songwriters of 2020 list, how the pandemic has impacted the music industry, and his own career, and shows some love to some well known musicians he's worked with previously. Max also drops some BIG names who are listed behind CJ on the Top 100 list, a pretty awesome moment for CJ.
