On this episode I speak to Lala, a mother of 4 and certified birth and postnatal doula & hypnobirthing and antenatal educator. Lala’s passion for support arose following the birth of her four children, and in particular her identical twins who were born preterm following a pregnancy complicated by Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome. She is passionate about support for every family, whatever their circumstances.
I enjoyed every single part of my chat with Lala. I am so inspired by her work as well as (what she calls) her 'heart-funded work' which serves to support women in their toughest moments, irregardless of their circumstances.
Lala is a true inspiration and I am so thrilled to share this chat with each of you!
On this very special episode I speak to Karin, a mum of 2, who has been walking through the childhood cancer journey with her daughter, Alexa, for the last two years. I invite all of my listeners to have a look at the links below and learn how you can support Childhood Cancer Awareness charities.
On this week’s episode, I popped along to the Happy Families with Principal Lisa show on Pearl 102 FM. Lisa brought Xia, Prianka & I together and we had an honest chat about motherhood, it’s pressures and giving ourselves permission to be human!
In episode 3, I chat to Lynn, a dear friend and brand new mum. Lynn shares her experiences of being a first time mum and we chat all about her career as an Occupational Therapist and the importance of play!
This is our monthly family episode designed for the entire family to listen to and chat about together. Each month, in these family episodes, we will be reading a beloved story which has a positive and affirmational tone. We encourage families to listen to these episodes together again and again and use it as your own anchor for dialogue in your home.
In this first episode, Lauren introduces herself and shares her story. Get to know how mindfulness rescued her parenting journey and some of her go-to self-care rituals, as well as the words of wisdom she often draws upon.
