Last episode, Renata and I touched on the importance of a balanced diet and food from the source minus the preservatives. Keep in mind, It’s good to live a little and have some pork chops and chicharrones. I mean, who doesn’t like a good chuleta? I know I do.

There’s nothing wrong with some fried food. All in moderation. We also left you dreaming of arepas. Whether you like to have them filled with chicken, cheese, meat and of course aguacate. It’s all good.

In 2016, On the 150th anniversary of Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey, Clay Risen wrote an article for the NY Times about Nathan “Nearest” Green. Fawn Weaver, an author and entrepreneur, was in Singapore when she read the article. This marked the beginning of something special. How special? Let’s just say the spirits industry has been introduced to a legacy that is rewriting history. A history ensuring the story is being told straight from the source.

Over the past few weeks Daso and I were able to break bread with our listeners around the world. This limited series proved that food is culture. It unites us. It’s a common thread we have with one another.

Our final episode gives us the most basic but essential foods. The specials for today are Ketchup, Hotdogs, Eggs and Rice. Mi gente, unwind and enjoy “ The Aguacate Chronicles”.

Quite a few Pork Chops and Croquetas were consumed to stop the cravings I had. For real. The Piragua and Cortadito came in handy to wash it down.
