Phil puts his old firefighters hat on and discusses with us the introduction of the regulations regarding the measures to prevent premature collapse of wiring systems.  

We'll discuss the history which caused the regulation, the current applications and what its actually like to be in an installation with premature collapsed cabling.

I attended an Arc Flash conference recently and it got me thinking about how well are we truly assessing our risks with live work and is there something we may not be considering that we should?

Introducing the cable calculations to the City and Guilds 2396 course. This video offers a gentle 'beginner' introduction into cable calculations.  More technical and challenging calculation videos will follow later in the series.
