Kelly Olsen, Allegra Anka and Augusta Koch made up the three members of a band called Cayetana who called it a wrap this past weekend. Cayetana was a band that my friends and I stumbled upon one day while going to a local punk show at our hometown venue. This was an experience that would prove to be life altering in many positive ways. Cayetana has been inspiration in the dark. This group wrote songs that have come to define certain moments of our lives and will continue to forever do so. While it is sad to see them part ways for other projects and pathways, we are reminded that we still have the music and all things must pass eventually. This podcast episode is a brief telling of some of the adventures we've had either going to see Cayetana perform, or hearing their music in our everyday moments. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to this band, for existing and always doing their own unique thing.
All brief song clips in this production by Cayetana.
Episode includes a brief "Take Five" and a lengthy discussion about every Cayetana show we have attended.
