In our final education interview (for now), listen to our conversation with John Day, a history teacher at Yellow Springs High School. He talks about his experience with Project-based Learning, teaching during the pandemic, and his thoughts on what and how public schools can do better.

This one is with Sarah Fine, director of the San Diego Teacher Residency at the High Tech High Graduate School of Education and author of In Search of Deeper Learning: The Quest to Remake the American High School. Hear Sarah talk about project-based learning, the goals and operations of her program, and her ideas on how public schools and teachers nationwide can do a better job at supporting young people. 

In our first of three interviews with educators, hear Alexander Kolokotronis, a Political Science PhD student at Yale, discuss democratic power and teacher unions in New Haven during the 1960's and 1970's, and the implications that period carries for our current public school system. In his own work, Alex studies the comparative analysis of anti-state and anarchist revolutions for the purposes of uncovering conceptions and implementations of post-state forms of governance and public power, as well as associationist self-managed socialism.
