The Final Act
Last time the crew of the Valentine independantly made their way to office of Douglas Connors. There they found PRIMM's deactivation key.
However all was not going to plan as an armed group of hideously mutated individuals began to make their way to Connors' office flanking a powerful and impossing man, Connors himself.
Firing two rounds into the leader of this group, Jack thought he had stopped Connors only to find out later he was still alive as the group barricaded themselves in the office for safety.
Meanwhile Dave and Memphis were forced to abandone the office on deck 6 as another roaming band of crewmembers come deformed cultists began making their way through the maintenance tunnels
towards them. Hot footing it the way the main group had gone the two found a more secure path thanks to the guidence of a mysterious voice.
With crew trapped in the office, another voice guided them to a hidden passage behind a bookcase. Taking their chance, as the horde outside began to break the door to the office, they
escaped into the tunnnels in the walls once more. After traversing these passages they came to a chamber with a standing stone and there, in the flashes of torchlight they reunited with
the rest of the crew.
With the key in hand and the group reunited the mysterious voice made themselves known. A sentient human sized snail like creature going by the name of Frank Dalglish, had been aiding the
crew. Now all together they make their way to their final goal; To shut down PRIMM and escape Astrid-5. But with roaming bands of cultists and an unkillable man on their heels, how will
the crew survive?...

The Key, The Executive and The Bookcase
Last time saw our crew, minus the still slightly woosy Dave, traverse the erry dark maintenance tunnels of Astird-5. They finally make it to deck 7, after being "slimed" by something, and make their way to Connor's office.

Tunnels and Ladders
Last time the crew of the Valentine found themselves face to face with a group of disfigured, shambling, individuals lead by someone spouting retoric about "the non believers."
A full on skirmish insues and Dave takes a mighty blow to the head, taking him out of action.
With a lot of luck, and team work however, the rest of the crew rallied and took down their assailants.
With members of the crew injured, how will the group respond? And with a situation that is progressively going south, how will they now react to the position they find themselves in?

Spectre Special - The Found Recording
Hey folks.
While I'm off recovering I thought I'd share this strange audio recording I came accross with you all. As far as I can tell it appears be from the 1940s. The audio is a little faded so I had to amplify and clean up a lot of it, still, it sounds pretty interesting so here it is.
Have to say one of the voices is pretty familiar but it couldn't be. I mean that would go against the laws of physics and our perception of reality...right?

He Hath Returned
Last time the crew of the Valentine confronted a clearly unstable Valerie, poised to run something from the stations control room.
Jack and Ash managed to subdue her but unpon investigating what she was doing a stray key stroke set in motions a series of events that changed the entire dynamic of the situation.
Struggling to get Astrid-5's power core back online the Crew were startled by a deep mysterious voice booming over all internal comms. Seems like someone or something called
Ak Kah Dwelleith is back, and now PRIMM is offline.
With options limited the crew headed back to Deck 5 in a search of answers only to find a horrific sight waiting for them....

Power Failure
After meeting Remi the crew are called back to Deck 5 as something has happened to Tuck. Returning they discover a man in a state of extreme distress, blood dripping from his mouth and an
office in disarray. Even more worrying still, Valerie had disappeared.
With some good detective work and using the station's cameras and system logs, the crew deduce Valerie must be on Deck Twelve thanks to a log of Tuck's security key being used to access
the control room.
Arriving on Deck Twelve, the crew follow a blood trail to the control room, with Valerie locked inside...

The Endless Gaping Maw
Well this is it. The final roll of the dice. Zonerath is on a rampage and our investigators are divided. Things, to say the least, are not looking very good.
On top of all of that JJ is now heading off towards the east side of the island, with Andrei in cahoots with the Nazi's. Are JJ and Frank going to be able to escape the torpedo boat in time?
Back on the island Henry, Barry and Charles have other problems. Can they get to the other side of the island and be able to stop Zonerath? Do they even know the spell to to try and hold Zonerath in please?
Only time will tell, and theres not a lot left...

And the Earth Began to Shake
Last time our investigators found themselves between a rock and hard place.
Not only were they being pursued by the spike throwing abominations, they then had to also contend with the Third Riech making lanfall and exploring the island.
Andrei continued to ingraciate himslef with Captain Reisenburg until gun shots drew the Kreigsmarine out of the house to find JJ hiding in the bushes.

Spectre Special - The Visitor on the Train
Good evening Spectre fans. George here, your Keeper of Arcaine Law.
As you can probably tell we've been on a little break recently. This will be the case for a little while longer while things in the background, notiably being an adult, settle down and get
back to more easy and gentle pace.
So I have something a little different for you.
Tonight I will be reading a very short story I wrote last year around October, after a friend challenged me. Now by short I mean I wrote it in about 5 minutes but I still think it's worth
sharing. Most of my writing is heavily inspired by writters like M R James, E F Benson and the like. I like my stories to be "scary" but for the horror to be something more than physical
gore.
I hope this comes across in this evenings tale, a story I call The Visitor on the Train....

After awakening to a horrific scream, the Chateau Estrange investigators headed out into the night to find the source however the night was still, all except a startled Hubert.

Spectre Showcase - Snyder's Return
Well our mini project comes to an exciting end with the lovely chaps over at Snyder's Return!
I have really enjoy collaborating with fellow spooky podcasters, and bringing their amazing content to you all. In saying that this final showcase is a little different. Locked Doors and Hidden Surprises
Last time 5 new investigators stepped off a boat onto an island off the coast of France.
Their job is to assess the condition of Chateau Ētrange, the home of now deceased magician and occultist Henri Cabanal, and carry out any repairs required before the Chateau is auctioned off.
The island itself has been abandoned for a few weeks after all the remaining staff fled and or disappeared.
Signs at the dock show a possible violent escape, and other clues hint towards a far darker situation than our investigators were expecting.
Now alone on this mysterious island, our investigators head towards the Chateau sitting in a clearing surrounded by dense woodland...

So as the song goes it's "...the most wonderful time of the year" but did you also know if can be one of the spookiest? It was once tradition for families to gather round on Christmas Eve and tell ghost stories, trying to one up each other but also scare the children to keep them awake (yeah, Victorian's were a little odd). As far as I can tell it was still quite popular into the Edwardian period and then died off.
Now, I guess like a lot of you, I do enjoy a good ghost story and whether it's M. R. James, E. F. Benson or H. P. Lovecraft I return time after time to feel that excitement and chill. This year, to try and keep with this tradition, we've put together a spooky two part tale for you all to enjoy.
The Night Before Christmas is my homage to the great Victorian and Edwardian ghost story writers I love. It is set in Edwardian England, Surrey to precises, Christmas Eve 1903. I am joined by Pan and Zuki as they investigate a haunted manor. But what will they find? You'll have to listen to find out.

Spectre Showcase - The Eldritch Hour

The Eldritch Hour is a horror themed, tabletop roleplay actual play podcast with a strong focus on lovecraftian and cosmic horror. The show maintains a style of slow burn tension, mystery, and atmosphere, complimented by original music. With a regular returning cast of enthusiastic players, the characters are also rich and developed. While the main game system used is Call of Cthulhu 7e, the show will explore other horror rpgs in the future. The show's first story, titled "The Star On The Shore," is a 36 episode mystery surrounding an astronomer, an antiquarian, a soldier-turned-private-detective, and a student with a secret family history as they travel to a foggy coastal town in New England in search of a rare and esoteric missing statue. The Eldritch Hour is hosted, produced, edited, and contains music and art made by Josh Richter.

Desperate Times, Heroic Actions
Last time our investigators found themselves in the thick of an occult ritual, desperate to prevent a repeat of the events of Belthorpe Manor.
Through team work and determination they prevented the insidious cult from sacrificing a young maiden, only to have unwittingly caused the ritual to begin by shooting one of the cultists into the flames.
With the cults High Priest dead and Clay also laying in the flames, how will our investigators stop the now ever growing vortex whirling above? And how will they stop what abomination is beginning to coming through?
The conclusion to Series 2 of Spectre in The Fog awaits. Sit back, relax and join our hero's once more as they stride into the fog!

Rights of The Damned
After traversing the hidden tunnels and passage ways of Ironforge's Spire and a brief look around for clues in the store district, our Investigators find and open a secret door, concealed as a metal panel on a grain silo. With a pungent smell and unnatural warmth wafted up from below they brace themselves and step into the darkness.
What possible horrors await our hero's under Ironforge and will Marcus finally warm up to Judge Albert? It's time to once again, step into the fog...
The Truth Prevails
Last time our investigators were brought before Judge Albert, the High Judge of Store District to plead their case. Though the Judge seemed to believe them the group where not so sure of the him as he looked exactly like Professor Munroe! But how could this be, he died in Shoreditch?
Non the less, putting their issues with Munroe aside, the investigators and the Judge forged on through secret hidden passageways finding archaic protection runes carved into the walls, that appeared to be as old as the city itself, before being confronted by an old locked wooden door. With key in had what will our Investigators find on the other side and will they be able to prove their case to Judge Albert?
An Audience with a Judge
Last time our investigators found themselves in the holding cells of Ironforge, awaiting an audience with the judge.
With much surprise they found Neuno, who was also being held by the City guards (after being caught in the under tunnels).
The group catch up with their acquaintance and after a nights rest are brought out by the guards and taken to see the Judge.
Before them stands a solid wooden door with a plaque displaying the judges name. Judge Albert.
As the door swings open, Cicero is shocked to see a familiar face.....
Reunion
With judgement passed by the book keeper, and a night in the cells ahead of them, what else will happen to our investigators.
And more to the point, will they actually get the see the Judge?
The Law
With our investigators now being "escorted" by three city guards, and the prospect of maybe seeing a judge, what answers will they get to where they are and if they can get back home.
Questions, answers and shenanigans lie ahead...but not necessarily in that order.
Everybody Loves Shamus
With the investigators now inside Ironforge all they need to do is start looking for clues. But where?
Also, is being in an outdoor tavern really the best idea with Craster around?
All we do know is, stuff is probably going to get a lot weirder...

With our investigators now safe in the cottage above the dungeon complex below, how will they proceed?
And with the looming walls of a vast city in front of them what new challenges now lie ahead?

With some of the group seemingly coming apart at the seams and no real sign of an exit or escape, how with our investigators fare?
And more to the point, whats behind this mysterious red door Wilfred has found. What secrets lie within?

Dungeon Fever
After escaping an assault by horrific spectral beings and finding a mysterious small single room house in a clearing in forest, things don't seem to be getting any better for our Investigators.
Melodic chanting now emanates from the forest around them as two of their number lay unconscious.
How will our heroes get out of this one? Lets find out.

If You go down to the Woods Today
After filling up on food and good company the investigators decide to track down Neuno at his camp. On their way the mysterious Morning Pillar glows a warm, yet ominous blue, the same as the monoliths in Balthazar's mansion. Realising that maybe their only source of answers regarding the distribution of the "Pillars" maybe Neuno the Outrider, they hot foot it to the outskirts of Stoneton to find his camp.
However, once they arrive they find in a state of abandonment and disarray. Drag marks lead off into the forest beyond the camp. The Forbidden Forest, full of giant man eating spiders and other unspeakable horrors...
