The grace of God or connection with the Universal Life Force is always available to us - exactly where we are right now. It is only in being open, honest and authentic that we are most able to receive. Culture, parents and religion might teach us that we need to prepare ourselves to meet the Divine by acting in ways that others feel are "appropriate." The idea of needing to be different, better or appropriate before approaching God is not only damaging and destructive - it is a lie. Higher Consciousness seeks connection with us constantly. Each moment we breath in and breath out we are in conversation with the Life Energy that is our true nature. Conscious connection with Divinity is most available to us when we are vulnerable and able to take it in. No preparation needed. We are always good enough for God.
Guilt is a potent motivator, but it can be debilitating. Renee talks with Scott Hutchinson about what she calls unearned guilt and how to make peace with gaps we experience in prosperity and poverty in our lives. How do we participate in creating our own life experience and how can we compassionately relate with the less fortunate? How can we come to deeper understanding of our interrelationship with other and our individual path of personal growth?

All the talk about intentions and goals in the new year can take us away from the truth of right now. Can we find the courage to live authentically and be willing to try new things? Are we willing to suck in order to get better? Can we trust that we are part of something larger than ours individual selves and believe that things are unfolding for us. Our choices and our attitudes co-create our reality, but we can only be who we are right now and that is enough.
We gravitate towards the light in the dark time of year, but we really gravitate toward something deeper. This episode explores tradition as a human need and the power of ritual as a conversation with the larger Universe. Food for holiday thought.

Darkness can also be a metaphor in our lives, the cycles of nature have much to teach us about how to live and how to let go.

Simple, relaxing, centering, this short guided meditation leads to a place of pure consciousness that has only our highest good in mind. This inner journey is the first step into the world of Spiritual Psychology. For many people nature provides an easy access to Universal Source and our own Highest Self. This inner journey can be a first step through the gateway to higher consciousness and personal growth. Spiritual Psychology uses your own active imagination as the vehicle for spiritual, emotional and mental liberation and healing. When we integrate the non-rational realm of emotion, felt sense and experience with present day awareness, we are free of past trauma and fear of the future. We are empowered to live fully in the only moment that matter, right now. When we open our mind in this way, we experience the connectedness of all things and know that we are truly part of a larger whole. We are not alone.
