This episode was directed by beloved Supernatural alum Richard Speight Jr., who will be joining The Winchesters as Loki.

The Winchesters Weekly - 1x12
This is The Winchesters 1x12 - "Tears of a Clown." John and Mary are on the run from the cops, living the Hunter life in a motel room eating greasy burgers, but all is not well between them as John refuses to confront what happened with Kyle. Carlos and Latika pick up a case featuring a Creepy Clown luring unsuspecting folks into his Hall of Mirrors, only to never return. Ada is back and is searching for additional magic to help in the fight against the Akrida Queen, leading her to another familiar Supernatural character.

The Winchesters Weekly - 1x09
This is 1x09 - "Cast Your Fate to the Wind." Fate, Destiny, and Free Will collide this week on The Winchesters. A team of vampires roll into Lawrence in search of an amulet that can offer a glimpse of Destiny, resulting in John Winchester getting a dark look at his apparent Fate. Mary and John attempt to hide their new relationship from the team to keep things simple, but everything may be getting a bit more complicated as John's ex-fiancé, Betty, and Kyle the journalist begin to investigate them.

Latika and Carlos head to Kansas City to investigate the death of a musician and run into an old familiar Supernatural face - Loki, the Trickster (Richard Speight Jr). But he's not the only legacy Supernatural character we run into in this episode as Mary and John begin to unravel a new mystery surrounding the man who set John on the path of the family business.
