Ghost of Me with Amanda Steel (Spoken Label, January 2021)
The latest Spoken Podcast features Andy N chatting to Amanda Steel about her forthcoming Podcast series 'Ghost of Me' which is a Podcast audio version of her book of the same name.  Ghost of Me is described as "Imagine getting the chance to solve your own murder. For Sarah, the prospect becomes a reality after finding her dead body in the morgue and deciding that the injuries sustained indicate she was murdered. She won’t let being a ghost stop her from tracking down the murderer and stopping him from killing again. However, she’ll need help from someone living. She finds that help in the form of Steve; a near recluse who sees ghosts and isn’t thrilled at the idea of Sarah appearing in his house whenever she feels like it. Can they work together and save lives, or will more women have to die?" The adventure begins on 1st Feb 2021 and can be found on all good Podcast networks.

Tom Ovans (Spoken Label, January 2021)
Latest from Spoken Label is Austin based American Folk Singer Tom Ovans. www.folkradio.co.uk have recently described Tom's new album 'Crows in the Corn' "Sparse, raw and recorded in analog to a 4-track, his cracked, dry and dusty voice seasoned with life and time, at times evocative of Dylan at his early best, Crows in the Corn, is Tom Ovans 14th album and first in six years. An unfiltered classic of American folk-blues filled with dark stories of the road, of redemption, losers, survivors and ghosts that haunt, opening with just the voice, harmonica and guitar capturing a tribal rhythm for Going Back Home, a song that carries a contemporary resonance of alienation and exclusion with its line about “Going back home before they build that wall”. Tom's music can be found at all of the usual places. His official website is: www.tomovans.com Songs played in this session include: 1. Mama Went to Arkansas 2. Poor Boy Blues 3. A love song 4. Rich Davenport (Spoken Label, December 2020)
Latest Spoken Label Podcast featuring comic / comic poet originally from Bolton now Morecombe based, Rich Davenport.  Rich has being described as:  “Funny.” – Hovis Presley, describing Rich’s comedy to Badly Drawn Boy’s sister (long story).   “Rich Davenport is a brilliant comedian. Genuinely bringing something different to the table and is always a big hit with audiences”. - Lee Martin, Director, Gag Reflex Comedy Agency   “Rich Davenport is a terrific performer whose enthusiasm and innate likability shine through. He also has a pleasingly madcap eye on the world and a gift for taking apparently innocuous words - like poultice - and making them extremely funny.” – Toby Hadoke, Comedian, host with the most at XS Malarkey, Manchester   Rich Davenport is a comedy poet, stand-up comedian and musician from exotic Bolton, in the UK. Inspired by Spike Milligan, Ogden Nash, Billy Connolly, John Cooper-Clarke, Robin Williams, Benjamin Zephanaiah, Victoria Wood, Lenny Henry, and by his friend and fellow Boltonian, the late Hovis Presley, Rich has gigged all over the UK, spreading mirth and making loud noises. No, he’s never heard of him either. Rich was described in one review as a “no-nonsense Northerner,” which is ridiculous, because nonsense is his business, and business is good.   Rich was first encouraged to compile a book of his poems of extreme gormlessness by Hovis Presley. After accidentally winning a couple of poetry slams, other encouraging individuals said the same thing. And now, finally,  Rich's first book, GORMLESS is available now from Chinbeard books at the link below with fabulous illustrations from the marvellous Minty B. A percentage from every book will be donated to the ME Association  https://www.chinbeardbooks.com/apps/webstore/products/show/8155538  Winner - Best Local Comedy, Morecambe Fringe Festival 2020   Poems read out include:  1. The Ballad of Bloody Nora 2. its rough and roughage 3. seven shades 4. fast poo haiku 5. Stripey Elf

Latest Podcast from Spoken Label features the wonderful Michael Brian, author off "My Introvert Journey To Being Visible!" Michael's book is described as "If you've spent any amount of time online, at events or watching the media you might be forgiven for thinking that everyone you see is an extrovert and as an introvert there's no place for you to be visible unless you're willing to be someone different. That's exactly what author Michael Brian McDonnell thought, after a difficult beginning in life, diagnosed with a life long health condition, bullied as a teenager and a total introvert Michael felt as if his dreams of making a difference, having a successful online business and speaking on stage wasn't meant for someone like him, he battled with feeling safe VS chasing his dreams. Inside this book Michael shares his journey as an introvert that takes him from hiding to being seen, interviewing celebrities, becoming a media personality himself and everything in between. Dive behind the scenes and discover how this introvert overcame all the odds and obstacles to quit hiding and have the bright shinning lights of a Sky TV studio set beaming down on him. This book is perfect for you if you're ready to be seen but dealing with the fears, doubts and worries about whether it's safe for you or how you even go about it."
