Today, Fr. Stace discusses how God works in us and through us as a body of Christ; and how holiness found in God and encouragement found in community can lead us to proper unity.

In today’s sermon, Fr. Stace Tafoya speaks on the Trinity’s relationship with us. As sons and daughters of God, we find that the Father is the dwelling place, the Son gives us peace and wholeness, and the Holy Spirit reminds us of Christ’s words and teaching.

Fr. Stace’s homily communicates the serious power of the tongue. Out of the abundance of the mouth, the heart speaks. With that, our job as Christians is to perceive the word of God: in prayerful silence; in blessing God and others rather than to curse; and in the cross.

We learn in Fr. Stace’s sermon about what makes our Christian Apostolic Community different from all other groups and organizations. We aspire to pray for the sick, celebrate God’s goodness, and proclaim God’s healing forgiveness. If we are not about these things, then what are we about?

In his sermon, Fr. Stace addresses the problems of secularization and socialization, and how they lead to a limiting and isolating life. Whereas Jesus offers us His Teaching and Presence, and the Cross.

In Fr. Stace’s homily, he points out that power, authority, and glory are rendered differently in the spiritually sick and the spiritually healthy. He warns us not to be a tyrant and not to be ruled by tyrants. Rather, be a servant. But, whom or what will we serve? Ultimately, we must be yoked to our high priest, Jesus.

In his Epiphany sermon, Fr. Stace Tafoya compares the Magi and Herod in relation to their perception of Christ. The Magi are looking up for the King of the Jews, Herod is looking down for fear of losing his throne. We also find that specific parallels lie between the gifts of the Magi and the elements of Christ in how he relates to us as King.

In his final Advent sermon, Fr. Stace shares how to honor and emulate Mary. As Mary did, we can ask ourselves: Does our faith give us a sense of urgency?  Are we willing to do whatever Jesus says? And are we willing to do His will, come what may?

In Fr. Stace’s Advent sermon, he reveals how necessary it is for us, as members of the Body of Christ, to prepare for the day of judgment. While we are here on this earth, we must be on guard and look up to our Lord, instead of crumbling into the cares and worries of the world. As written in Luke 21, now is the time to prepare as if the Day of Judgment were tomorrow. And we can put our trust in our Lord, who will make us right.

Fr. Stace Tafoya connects All Saints and Baptism. We find that through baptism, a child of God is grafted into the House of God, and given the rights and privileges of His household.
