Kristen Westcott: creating systems to support growth and scalability, while parenting midpandemic

Kristen Westcott is a business growth & systems strategist and founder of Kristen Westcott & Co who has spent the last decade in the legal and education fields supporting leaders and students in the areas of goal setting, productivity, and project management. After recognizing her true passion lies in serving entrepreneurs, Kristen honed her skills as a Director of Operations. She quickly noticed that what was holding many business owners back wasn’t a lack of drive or ability, but a lack of foundational systems that could support the day-to-day operations of a scaling business. These days, she spends her time helping online coaches, copywriters, and creatives scale without the frustration that massive growth often brings. Anxiety. Entrepreneurship. My *BIGGEST* mistakes and shame. All in one episode.

Anxiety. Entrepreneurship. My *BIGGEST* mistakes and shame. All in one episode.

I’m anxious about releasing this episode because my anxiety is so evident within. Anxious about my past and what you’ll think of it. Anxious of the present and how you’ll perceive my experience. Anxious about releasing this episode and how you’ll view my fear of it. You, meaning just people, and letting you into the world of mistakes, shame, missteps, acknowledgement, struggle, etc. I will continue to fail but I hope I always listen to my own deep knowing and that I continue to fail forward. In entrepreneurship, in anti-racism work, in showing up with transparency and decency, as a member of the LGBTQIA community, as a sister, as a daughter, as a wife, as a human, in making mistakes and owning them. I’m a constant student and this episode is just part of what I learned so far. I offer it here in case it can help you, too. To not feel alone. To know that you’re seen. To know that you’re supported. Even when you make mistakes, even when you’re anxious, even when you mess up. We can do hard things.

Welcome To The Anxious Entrepreneurs!

Welcome To The Anxious Entrepreneurs!

Here’s a little love letter..... to you, fellow anxious humans. Making a podcast is something that I’ve wanted to do for so long - but perfectionism stopped me. Until...... my desire to connect, support, and unite became stronger than my fear. So, I present, my perfectly imperfect starting point, in all of it’s anxious, awkward, wobbly glory. I invite you to come along on this journey with me ... one tiny step at a time.
