Starship Ventures 001 - Total Abundance w/ David Holz

Starship Ventures 001 - Total Abundance w/ David Holz

On July 20th 1969, an estimated 1/6th of the world's population watched Neil Armstrong step foot on the moon. People crammed into living rooms, appliance stores, and street corners and were transfixed; observing humanity's greatest endeavor unfold before their eyes. 50 years later, that day remains our greatest achievement as a species.

Today the world feels increasingly divided and humanity could use a unifying mission. The wealth gap, climate crisis, and a growing ideological divide are just a few of the pressing challenges we currently face. A shared mission and goal organizes efforts and unites; it's the one thread throughout history that has brought about our greatest moments.

Our global economy is dependent on constant growth. Business and commerce are the modern glue that binds the world together and are major suppressors of global conflict. It's bad for business to kill each other or completely turn a superpower's resources & focus towards conflict. The only way to sustain this growth in perpetuity is to venture to the stars. Space is not a zero sum game, it's an infinite area to expand into. Charging forth into the great beyond is not out of reach, it's a matter of focus. It's a function of where capital, resources, and brain power flow. This shared mission will be our next greatest undertaking and require us to fix most of the issues that we face today on Earth as a byproduct.
