An experiment: Do people say "hello"?
Something you can try at home. Say hello to 10 strangers when walking down the street. How many will say hello? How many will smile? How many will think you're a nut? Do the results change if you are walking a dog? Your podcast host took the psychological slings and arrows from people I don't know so you can know if people are nicer these days.
100 years! In the past or in the future?
What's your time travel choice? If you could go back or forward in time 100 years, which way you going? A rant about which we'd choose, what psychologists say, and dig into flapper fashion to flying cars, refrigerators to robots and will AI replace politicians. (hint: it's the best joke in the episode)
Coffee Drinkers - let's heat this up again
A rewarmed rant about something many of us enjoy (ie: need) on a daily basis and the people who drink it. And maybe the people who try to talk to you before you've had your first cup. Sip happens, right?
Sidewalk Situations
All you're trying to do is get someplace. All you run into is drama. (ie: people, pets and bikes) Let's chat about the concrete craziness that keeps you off the streets.
People watching during the eclipse
Instead of looking up, I decided to look around...at people. I was blinded by the lunacy of humanity, and I'll share five simply crazy things I observed…with no special glasses needed.
Are you funny?
Half of you think you are, the other half think not so much. The only agreement everyone has is that this podcast is not funny. You want to join the funny people? Learn 8 tips how to improve your punchlines. One bit of advice: don't use any of the dad jokes in this episode in public.
Making Excuses
We all make them, hate them and excuse them, even the dumb ones. And if you're doubting me, science says we make on average about 6 excuses a day. (Even YOU) So you have no excuse to not enjoy this piss poor excuse of an episode.

Coffee Mugs?
Coffee mugs? Per smart types, people are more emotionally attached to their favorite coffee mug than other people.
Let's take some time to figure out why and what type of person you are by the kind of mug you use…all in the time it will take you to enjoy another cup. And don't even get me started about tea drinkers.

The joke: Hot, black and bitter
Monday? Who likes a Monday?
Monday, yeah we're talking about Monday.
Look on the bright side, at least Mondays only happen once a week.
An episode about that dreaded "M" word and all the things that drive us crazy about this very special part of our work week. A bit of verbal therapy for every Friday person living in a Monday world.
Stuck on Stickers
Sticker? I hardly ... (you know the joke)
Big ones, small ones, political ones, rude ones, crude ones. Stickers! And today you see them everywhere, and for many of us, we're not happy about it. So let's rant a bit about this sticky subject.
Colors (A shady rant)
Colors! Not so much a black and white conversation, remixed for a fresh take. Enjoy a rant about how colors made you do things, like things and wear things.

Wine Drinkers
We will enjoy no wine (podcast) before its time. Well it's time. Grab a glass or a straw and let's chat about wine drinkers.
Some wine I enjoyed the other day:
Trefethen Vineyards in Napa Valley
EVEN MORE Things We Miss
The path down memory lane is longer than you may remember. So enjoy a follow up episode with even more things from the youth of a boomer that we may have missed, but enjoyed...back in the day. Ahh, like about 107 of them. (yes, I counted)
Things we miss
WARNING: this episode may have serious boomer tendencies! Enjoy a rant about the food, fun and funny people from your "Good Old Days".
OPC- Other People's Conversations
Something that happens everyday, whether we want it to or not. You overhear other people's conversations…maybe they hear yours. You'll hear a lot about humanity and their crazy daily problems just by listening in on this episode. Like the 80% of us that listen in on other people almost every day.
Laughter is the best medicine, isn't it?
Yet another lame attempt to get you to take meds for your funnybone. Laughing is good for you, but as usual the dadjokes go down like a spoonful of bad tasting stuff. Speaking of bad taste going down. What do you get when you cross the Atlantic with the Titanic? Halfway.
The jokes may be better in the episode. (maybe)

Do you have a sense of humor?
Life can be funny…but you need a sense of humor. Experts say there are more types of humor than colors of M&M's. Let's chat about each with a few bite-sized sweet dad jokes for them all. (WARNING: This rant has more fart jokes than any other of these smelly episodes)
Scissors: Cut me some Social Media slack
It all started with a fun social media post of a picture of scissors. Well I thought it was fun. All I asked was "What are two of these called?" Well I got called a few things and started a debate on the internets. The comments were a shear disaster. Grab your brain, grab your dictionary and join this snippy dialog…if you have a pair.

The Big Snow Job
Who says a few inches won't drive someone crazy? :0) When it snows, we change. We get weird, we get excited... And we're about to have fun talking about the people who do. After all is sled and done…the snow must go on. Enjoy this 2.0 edition reimagined from 2020.
Are you a procrastinator?
If you think you're going to get your procrastinating under control…starting tomorrow, you need this episode…NOW! Enjoy a few minutes that doesn’t hold back on the types of people who do, some tips of how not to and the dad jokes that don't pause the pain for a second.
Meteorologists: feeling under the weather about them?
One thing 330 million people in the USA all agree on: Weather People are just wrong…all the time.
Well, we are wrong about them being wrong. Don't get the wrong idea, I predict this episode will take on our complaints by storm, maybe even beat the raining champion on something we talk about every day. (see what I did there?)
Pick One: A hot or cold shower
About half of us like them hot, and the other half like them cold. Whichever your choice behind the curtain, there's no stalling on the stats of the benefits of both. A temperature tirade that will work you up into a lather on an episode that as usual, is all wet.
New Year Resolutions 2024
We make new plans every year, we break these plans every year. And when 1 out of 10 of us actually keeps one, it's resolutionary!
Join the rant about being bad at trying to be better next year.
A 2.0 episode!
Holiday Gift Regifting? 2.0
That gift that keeps on giving, again and again. Do you regift?
Many of us do, so let's talk about a lot of people!
Gift Card Cash Exchanges:
People at your holiday party 2.0
It happens about this time every year…you get to enjoy the festivities with co workers at a company party, or with relatives at the family get together. Fun times for all? The best Christmas spirit may be the one in your glass. Let's discuss.
Who doesn't wear jewelry? You?
The number of bling free people is ballooning. No gold, no silver, no nothing…maybe a watch. 3 out of 4 of us are wearing less these days…we've got some (precious) stones to share why we're not and why that's okay.
A bowl of nuts
A nutty conversation that began with the question: Are peanut butter cookies nut free? A lunatic legume lament over a favorite people snack that always causes chaos whether in a cookie or a bowl at your next party.
Which Christmas lights light you up? Color or white?
Let shine some light hearted light on something we dread to do, but love to look at. As in sports, enjoy the play-by-play of where all the festive fun came from and of course we'll add some color about our decorating action.
Becoming a senior citizen
Don't let your age get you down, you may not be able to get back up. You're officially now "old". What does that mean? (other than us making fun of you)
Holiday Decorating: Our "you do or you don't" drama
One out of 3 of us do not decorate at all…some, well let's just say they're on the other end of the bell curve. Why do we, why don't we show our festive feelings not just around Thanksgiving, Christmas or Hanukkah, but any time of the year.
Are we DUMB(er)?
We don’t remember things, or need to remember them any more. Phone numbers, addresses, directions, cooking and more. Some skill sets that were a "must have" to get through life, now gone. Has technology and our new world make us better…or dumber? Both?
Enjoy a few "skill free" minutes through the eyes of a boomer who had to learn to write cursive and use a paper map.
Podcast: No Stupid Questions. Episode 167: "Is GPS Changing Your Brain?"
Socks! Socks?
Just an audio yarn about the challenges, trials and tribulations of wearing them…or not. 9 out of 10 of us do worldwide, so an episode that weaves a warm and fuzzy story for (almost) all of us.
TV Anchor Jim Donovan and his socks: TWITTER
What's in your wallet?
We carry lots of things in our wallet…but very little cash these days. (yes it's a trend) Pull yours out of that pants pocket and let's look at what you should and should not have in there.

Beautiful people: Who are they?
We see them every day. Beautiful (AKA pretty) people. What makes them beautiful, how many of them are there, and do you know you may just be one of them too? Some of the trends are pretty scary. (see what I did there?)
Cigar Smoking
Let's clear the air on this habit. I don't smoke, but the people who do, really get fired up about their stogie style.
The world has two kinds of people: cigar smokers and people who think they're a pain in the ash.
Cigar Bar mentioned in the episode: Aston Cigar Bar, Philadelphia
Imposter Syndrome…again?
A rant just to prove I still don't know what I'm talking about. Enjoy a talk about a fear we all have, how it can ruin our day and how we can get over it (and ourselves).

Birthday Cards!
We all have birthdays, but do we all get birthday cards? Who gets them, who sends them? (You do…DON'T YOU?) And yes a few dad jokes about birthday cards in the mail. Are they any good? Of course, but it was easy: it's all in the delivery.
Make a choice: This or That?
We make 35 thousand choices every day (per the experts). In many cases, it's down to choosing between two: this or that.
Food, clothing, vacation spots, travel, work…even what podcast you chose to listen to. Thanks for choosing THIS one. ;0)
Do you suffer from RBF?
RBF = Resting Bitch Face. An affliction of happy people who know it, but just don't show it.
So many of us are grumpy about not being grumpy, but looking that way.
Enjoy some science, some advice and some bad dad jokes that will give you a real reason not to smile.

Punctuation!!!
If you see a comma, a semicolon and a period walk into a bar…it should give you pause. Literally.
Let's discuss some punctuation that's widely used by boomers, but now becoming a Millennial thing. This episode may win a podcast punctuation competition: First prize is an apos-trophy.

I may be mistaken, but many people think they're always right. And that may include you and me…sometimes. A chat about handling these folks, things we're all in error about…most of the time, like history, sports, friends and family. An episode about being right all the time…what could go wrong?
You want ice in your drink?
Half of us like it and half of us not so much: Ice in your beverage. And it's a real American thing. The rest of the world thinks we're crazy Ice holes!
So grab a drink, choose from the different types of ice cubes we discuss, and chill over an episode that all started because I put ice in my beer.
