Ernie extends the series on the Questions of Jesus and brings the passage Mark chapter 8, hitting a rapid succession of questions targeting our understanding of the gift God brings freely to us.
Questions of Jesus - Why are you afraid? Why do you doubt?
The third and last of the Questions of Jesus series, Ernie once more draws from the book of Matthew, chapters 8 and 14, to encourage the congregation to really ask these questions of ourselves to see what doubts or fears are holding us back in our relationships with God.
Questions of Jesus - Who do you say I am?
Part Two in the series of the Questions of Jesus, Ernie brings to light a passage from Matthew 16 where Jesus asks his disciples this question, and turns it to the congregation. Who do we think Jesus is and how does that relate to what the Bible says.
Questions of Jesus - Do you want to be healed?
Pastor Ernie uses the passage of Matthew healing the lame man by the pool to dig into the topic of Jesus asking the question, 'Do you want to be healed?' and the context behind why we would be given the choice.

Guest speaker Garth Koop (SEMC) brought the second sermon in a short two-part series looking at Proverbs 8. He reminded us that wisdom is available for everyone is relevant wherever you go. The Lord is the creator of wisdom.

Adrian Miller called us to a regenerate life. It is the power of God for everyone who believes. Regeneration is how Christ saves us. It becomes effective through our belief.

Guest speaker Jason Heide (SEMC) shares the three perspectives on why wisdom is key for a fruitful life.

Pastor Ernie looked at Exodus 34 and walked us through the characteristics of God such as compassionate, abounding in love, and forgiveness.

This time around, and a week late due to Worship in the City, Ernie joins the fathers on stage as Diane asks the questions to the fathers of all ages on their experiences, trials, victories, and God moments, for them to share with the congregation.
