S2EP21. Sober + Thriving: A Real Conversation about Substance Abuse and Mental Health with Ashton Phelps
Hi everyone! Nothing makes me happier than sitting down with a friend, putting the fluffy things aside, and having real conversations about the hard things we've walked through. That's how we grow, learn, and can praise God for the work he has done in each of our lives. This week I sat down with one of my dearest friends, Ashton Phelps, and we talked about her journey with mental health, alcohol, and sobriety over the past few years. We also talked about what it looks like to support and show up for our sober friends or those battling with substance abuse. Enjoy!

EP 13. Beyond the Screen
Hi everyone! In this episode, I share some of my unfiltered thoughts on the recent shooting in Buffalo, New York, how to keep yourself sane when the news/social media is only telling you bad news, and on social media, influencing, + being present off-line. It's a big melting pot, but my prayer in all of it is that there would be something that encourages or inspires you!
I hope you will join me in praying for the families that have been hit by the recent gun violence tragedies, that God would draw near to those who mourn, for a collective repentance in our nation from power, idolatry, and greed, and for us to continue to cling to the faithfulness of God even in the face of seemingly hopeless circumstances.

EP 10. Cash App Man & Other Epiphanies
Hi everyone! After quite a long (kind of unintentional) hiatus, I am back--armed with a load of random thoughts on lament, sadness, church hurt, and how to view people in this quite polarizing time, as well as a slightly embarrassing adulting story (i am ashamed haha). This episode is kind of a big melting pot, but I hope you can pull something out of it that speaks to your soul. Sorry for any bad editing, please bear with me as I get back into the groove of things and thanks for being so patient as I was figuring my life out these past months! I so look forward to catching up! As always, the socials are below, so be sure to follow for the latest updates or just to connect and say hey. Ya'll are the best!

EP 4. #LoveYourNeighbor with Emily Budine
Hi everyone! In this episode, I sit down and talk with my awesome friend Ebu. One thing I've been thankful for in this season is being able to have honest conversation with my white friends about race how that plays into what is going on in America at the moment. It was great hearing Ebu's reflections on the last few weeks, what she's learned, and how she plans on moving forward! So much wisdom and insight in this episode and great practical, biblical steps on how we can love our neighbors better -- hope ya'll enjoy!
