Episode #9 | Privacy, Security, And The Coming Catastrophe

Episode #9 | Privacy, Security, And The Coming Catastrophe

There is a hint of a more-than-plausible catastrophe on the horizon of future events. As technology races against itself at an exponentially accelerating pace, the struggle to propagate the necessary hardware and software throughout the population in order to maintain the security of our financial and personal data will become utterly untenable at some point. At this point, we will be forced to hand advancements over to machines because we will simply be incapable of keeping up with the pace of our own technology.

STEMPrime Supplemental #7 | Commentary on The Check Your Bias James R. Harrigan Interview

This is a commentary on the James R. Harrigan Interview. Professor Harrigan is a co-host on The Words & Numbers podcast (https://fee.org/shows/audio/words-numbers/). He was interviewed on The Check Your Bias podcast, which you can find here: (https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy50cmFuc2lzdG9yLmZtL2NoZWNrLXlvdXItYmlhcw/episode/MTJmZjI4ODYtZDViYS00MGJmLWExYzItZmZhMDE4MGZlYjNm)

16 minutes in, they begin to discuss the politicization of science and research; an topic I get very passionate about. I would recommend subscribing to both podcasts.

The issues pointed out here are exactly the issues that STEM Theory is meant to utterly cripple.

STEMPrime Supplemental #6 | Commentary on JRE Episode #1492 Jocko Willink Interview

This is a commentary on the Jocko Willink Interview. Jocko's perspective and approach to leadership is phenomenal. As far as psychology and sociology goes - he's nailed it. Simply listening to this man talk; I am nearly certain that he is, if not self-actualizing, he is on his way.

He employs almost everything that we talk about in STEM Theory. A restructuring of social motivational foci, he knows how to get other's intrinsic motivation engine's revving (self-determination theory of motivation), and -whether he realizes it or not- his entire method for dealing with others is a form of helping others actualize. Self-actualization is a cornerstone of what Jocko is talking about.

When it comes to social damage, nothing compares to how we abuse money.

Arrests really are just legalized kidnapping; and bail really is just legalized ransom. How we handle crime and punishment is simply, and unarguably wrong. We've put currency on such an impossible pedestal that every corner we turn, money is destroying something.

Episode 6 part 2/4 excerpt - Prof Scott Huettel's course, "Behavioral Economics: When Psychology and Economics Collide" on The Great Courses Plus website is an amazing course, and I would definitely recommend it to anybody interested in economics.

However - he reviews Jeremy Benthams claim that value is attributable to pain and pleasure, and then continues to deliver his own analysis as to what the fundamental variables are that we see as value.

I would have to disagree with both Prof Huettel and Jeremy Bentham.

E0006 3/4 & 4/4: Thermodynamics & The Three Functions of Money: Currency's Hamartia

E0006 3/4 & 4/4: Thermodynamics & The Three Functions of Money: Currency's Hamartia

The 3rd and 4th installments have been combined into a single, hard-hitting collection of deductive arguments, neatly wrapping episode #6 up.

Medium of Exchange and the four Laws of Thermodynamics are quickly reviewed.

With the use of an analogy, the difficulty in explaining Medium of Exchange from a thermodynamic perspective is addressed.

A full analysis of a CDE (currency-driven economy) through the lens of thermodynamics is laid out from foundation to subtle nuance. Afterwords, a look at the three functions of money, separately and as a whole, reveals all of the logical issues with our currently used pseudo-structure.

E0006 2/4: Thermodynamics & The Three Functions Of Money: Behavioral Economics & Medium of Exchange

E0006 2/4: Thermodynamics & The Three Functions Of Money: Behavioral Economics & Medium of Exchange

This is the first of the four-part series, "Thermodynamics & The Three Functions Of Money".

This second quarter-episode is titled, 'Behavioral Economics & Medium of Exchange"

In light of Professor Scott Huetell's, 'Behavioral Economics' course on The Great Courses Plus website (https://www.thegreatcoursesplus.com/behavioral-economics-when-psychology-and-economics-collide), I begin this lecture with a review of what exactly value is. Dr. Huetell covers several concepts such as reference dependence, probability weighting, reward prediction & neural firing rates, and several other ideas directly related to how we attribute value.

Medium of Exchange is the first of the three functions of money that we're covering in this four-part series. Medium of Exchange flies directly in the face of how the universe works. Exchange, as it is practiced in a currency driven economy, does not exist in the natural universe. We cover this as a concept and the problems that arise because of this.

E0006 1/4: Thermodynamics & The Three Functions Of Money: What Is Value?

This is the first of the four-part series, "Thermodynamics & The Three Functions Of Money".

This first quarter-episode is titled, 'What Is Value?"
It turns out that value is quite a bit trickier to quantify than one might think. In order to inspect the three functions of money through the lens of thermodynamics, we have to first find a way to objectively quantify value.

This episode details that specific reduction. The ideas in this episode are crucial to understand before addressing the topics of the next three episodes.

E0005: Post-Scarcity? Seriously? Who Even Is This Guy?

Episode #161 of 'Words & Numbers', "Why Is It So Hard To Sue The Police?", introduces an interesting mental dilemma we are all currently dealing with. If we continue to stay home, will the lives saved be worth the economic cost?

I found this an intriguing question from an "epiconomic" perspective.

This is something that has been a long time coming. I knew my credibility would be called into question sooner or later with such an involved and massive project. You may skip this episode if this does not interest you. I give you the layout of my life, who I am, and what has turned me into the person I am today.

Why should you trust me? The short answer is: you really shouldn't. You should trust the experts and researchers I'm lining up for the interview phase.

E0004: Crime & Education Within A Post-Scarce Epiconomy (Giterature & Torrent University)

In this episode, we cover an extremely detailed look at what an epiconomy is and why it is completely different than an economy. Even though the words are similar, they are vastly different systems.

I also cover an in-depth look at how our present economic structures fueled the spread of COVID-19.
