The STEMPrime Researchcast

The STEMPrime Researchcast

By Thomas Wright
STEMPrime is a researchcast; meaning, the interviews conducted are a part of the AI STEM Drive research effort.

Theoretically, The AI STEM Drive capably replaces any current economy with an epi-conomy which is a radical new way to imagine resource allocation and distribution.

Its purpose is to:
start post-scarcity
optimize wellbeing
nullify corruption, homelessness, and hunger
... and much more.

The AI STEM Drive and The STEM Epi-conomy is a multidisciplinary research project involving psychology, sociology, physics, computer science, AI/ML (artificial intelligence/machine learning), etc.

E0006 3/4 & 4/4: Thermodynamics & The Three Functions of Money: Currency's Hamartia
The 3rd and 4th installments have been combined into a single, hard-hitting collection of deductive arguments, neatly wrapping episode #6 up. Medium of Exchange and the four Laws of Thermodynamics are quickly reviewed. With the use of an analogy, the difficulty in explaining Medium of Exchange from a thermodynamic perspective is addressed. A full analysis of a CDE (currency-driven economy) through the lens of thermodynamics is laid out from foundation to subtle nuance. Afterwords, a look at the three functions of money, separately and as a whole, reveals all of the logical issues with our currently used pseudo-structure. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you are a scientist, researcher, or professional in a relevant field and you feel you have something to contribute to our efforts - please send me an email with "interview" in the subject line. E0006 2/4: Thermodynamics & The Three Functions Of Money: Behavioral Economics & Medium of Exchange
This is the first of the four-part series, "Thermodynamics & The Three Functions Of Money". This second quarter-episode is titled, 'Behavioral Economics & Medium of Exchange" In light of Professor Scott Huetell's, 'Behavioral Economics' course on The Great Courses Plus website (https://www.thegreatcoursesplus.com/behavioral-economics-when-psychology-and-economics-collide), I begin this lecture with a review of what exactly value is. Dr. Huetell covers several concepts such as reference dependence, probability weighting, reward prediction & neural firing rates, and several other ideas directly related to how we attribute value. Medium of Exchange is the first of the three functions of money that we're covering in this four-part series. Medium of Exchange flies directly in the face of how the universe works. Exchange, as it is practiced in a currency driven economy, does not exist in the natural universe. We cover this as a concept and the problems that arise because of this. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The STEMPrime Researchcast is a podcast designed to bring the viewers along with me during the primary research phase for the AI STEM Drive Each 'supplemental' is a short segment consisting of thoughts and ideas which are relevant to current events. E0006 1/4: Thermodynamics & The Three Functions Of Money: What Is Value?
This is the first of the four-part series, "Thermodynamics & The Three Functions Of Money". This first quarter-episode is titled, 'What Is Value?" It turns out that value is quite a bit trickier to quantify than one might think. In order to inspect the three functions of money through the lens of thermodynamics, we have to first find a way to objectively quantify value. This episode details that specific reduction. The ideas in this episode are crucial to understand before addressing the topics of the next three episodes. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- The STEMPrime Researchcast is a podcast designed to bring the viewers along with me during the primary research phase for the AI STEM Drive Each 'supplemental' is a short segment consisting of thoughts and ideas which are relevant to current events. Supplemental episodes are not beholden to any specific platform or a schedule. Regular episodes will be uploaded every Monday. The AI STEM Drive is being developed by Phobos Technologies LLC ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- E0005: Post-Scarcity? Seriously? Who Even Is This Guy? Episode #161 of 'Words & Numbers', "Why Is It So Hard To Sue The Police?", introduces an interesting mental dilemma we are all currently dealing with. If we continue to stay home, will the lives saved be worth the economic cost? I found this an intriguing question from an "epiconomic" perspective. This is something that has been a long time coming. I knew my credibility would be called into question sooner or later with such an involved and massive project. You may skip this episode if this does not interest you. I give you the layout of my life, who I am, and what has turned me into the person I am today. Why should you trust me? The short answer is: you really shouldn't. You should trust the experts and researchers I'm lining up for the interview phase. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you are a scientist, researcher, or professional in a relevant field and you feel you have something to contribute to our efforts - please send me an email with "interview" in the subject line.   Thank you,  --Thomas Wright

E0002: The Psychological and Artificially Intelligent Nature of Post-Scarcity
The STEMPrime Researchcast is a podcast designed to bring the viewers along with me during the primary research phase for the AI STEM Drive Each 'supplemental' is a short segment consisting of thoughts and ideas which are relevant to current events. Supplemental episodes are not beholden to any specific platform or a schedule. Regular episodes will be uploaded every Monday. The AI STEM Drive is being developed by Phobos Technologies LLC ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- STEMPrime E0002: The Psychological and Artificially Intelligent Nature of Post-Scarcity In this podcast we review and expand on some key ideas of psychology from episode 1. We look at why artificial intelligence / machine learning are a requirement for post-scarcity. We talk about the structure of The AI STEM Drive and how it orchestrates and coordinates with The STEM Epiconomy. We then talk about how both systems reorient our sociological and psychological foci back to a more natural state. Under this very specific structure; corruption is rendered inert, and the self-amplifying cycle of STEM Theory's post-scarcity begins. E0001: Pilot / STEM Theory Fundamentals
The AI STEM Drive is being developed by Phobos Technologies LLC ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- STEMPrime E0001: Pilot / STEM Theory Fundamentals This video covers the fundamental ideas and research which support STEM Theory.  Though, I go into some detail here, we've literally just scratched the surface of what exactly STEM Theory is and what it could mean for us. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- What is The STEM Epiconomy and The AI STEM Drive? The STEM Epiconomy is a radical re-engineering of how resource allocation and distribution should be conducted. Though it is concerned with resources and their distribution; by the very definition it is not the same as an 'economy'. An 'epiconomy' is outside of, above, and includes what we think of as an economy. You might even say an economy is a very specific sub-type of one of an epiconomy's sub-structures. The STEM Epiconomy is a sub-genre of the general concept of an epiconomy. The STEM Epiconomy needs an unbiased, high-speed, intelligent and reactive network in order to ensure that it functions at peak efficiency; which is the job of The AI STEM Drive. According to the research, we believe that when both systems have been properly integrated into a society; the benefits include, but are not limited to: Post-scarcity The exponential acceleration of scientific research and technological advancement The obliteration of corporate and political corruption The maximization of privacy, health, and mental wellbeing (both personally and socially) The minimization of waste (both material and energetic) The maximization of happiness, fulfillment, self-actualization and productivity 100% availability of the highest possible quality of educational resources to all individuals and groups - no exceptions The complete erasure of unemployment, homelessness, and hunger Hard to swallow? Let us take you with us as we conclude our final research phase before developing The AI STEM Drive ... The AI STEM Drive is a multi-tier & multi-stream network of distributed artificial learning agents designed to enable and orchestrate The STEM Epiconomy. Self Determination Theory of Motivation ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-determination_theory ) Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maslow%27s_hierarchy_of_needs ) Motivation ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motivation ) Ideophysical Dynamism ( https://medium.com/@creationtribe/ideophysical-dynamism-48736704591d ) 'When At Long Last We Wake' ( https://medium.com/@creationtribe/when-at-long-last-we-wake-f65cf8c9aea9 ) Scott Kaufman ( https://scottbarrykaufman.com/ ) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you are a scientist, researcher, or professional in an applicable field; and you would like to have a conversation about STEM Theory or any related topic - please send an email to stemprimepodcast@gmail.com with "interview" in the subject line.
