#074 Dain Heer: on the language of energy and how to use it to navigate your life

In this episode, we are speaking to Dr Dain Heer, author, speaker, change-maker and the co-creator of Access Consciousness - a powerful personal development company that invites you to value possibilities over problems to rewire negative thought processes.

He began his career journey as a chiropractor, and over the last twenty years, he developed his signature energy work called the Energetic Synthesis of Being, which invites a new level of awareness, communion and transformation with bodies. He also launched a sustainable resort in Italy called El Lugar.

This conversation spoke to so many different levels and layers to me. It sparked so much joy and aliveness in me, I didn’t even realise I needed.

We talk about addiction to heaviness, how energy doesn’t lie, collective unconsciousness, tools to find and choose the light, judgement vs gratitude, choosing to be free and so much more.

I hope you enjoy this smooth conversation thanks to our sound partner Audio-Technica.

#061 Taya Stapelfeldt: on the superpower we all have within us, how we are perfect and whole, and how to reconnect when feeling lost

In this episode, we speak with Taya Stapelfeldt, an Ibiza-based somatic leadership coach, mentor and embodiment trainer. She is known by her clients as the ‘woman with the key’ who has a deep and direct connection to the truth. She is a somatic strategist, whose approach combines many years of spiritual practice with leadership coaching, mindset, movement, breath and energy work that enables clients to transform at every level.

Trained and certified in the Grinberg Method and the Pantarei Approach.  Her work has been featured on Mastermind Academy, the Meditation-moments app, BBC Radio and White Ibizia to name a few.

This is a special episode for me because I worked with Taya for over a year and she helped me get out of a very dark place, supported me in processing trauma from my youth, allowed me to close loops that had been tormenting me for years and move more into the light and into my power. I will forever be grateful for her magical and supportive presence during such difficult times.

In this episode, we talk about how we are already perfect and whole, we just need to rediscover it within ourselves, how to reconnect when feeling disconnected, the superpower we all have within us and much more.

#054 Steph L Dickson: on living with the darkeness & why we need to fight the good fight together

Hey it’s Steph Dickson and welcome to the Live Wide Awake podcast.

Today is a very special episode because I am reposting an episode from the How To Live podcast where I was interviewed. The reason I am doing that is because we went deep on anxiety and mental health. If you’ve been following me for a while you know this is a very important topic to me. I have been in and out of the darkness and have suffered from anxiety since I was 11 years old. And in this interview, I bare my soul, share what it's like and how I support myself through it.

These conversations needs to be normalised, the more people who talk about it, the more we can break down any taboos still lingering around, support others and of course ourselves.

There are two parts to this interview. The first 20 minutes we talk about climate change and sustainability. Then we go into mental health and the darkness.

I am very grateful to my friend, life coach and entrepreneur, Sharad Lal for sharing my story and using his platform for such meaningful topics. A little bit about his podcast - it explores ways to live a good life. If you are looking to manage stress, deepen relationships, navigate midlife, build resilience, or simply add more meaning to your life - check it out.

Okay, let’s dive in, it's time to live wide awake.

#048 Liz Courtney: swapping stilettos for snow boots, understanding our climate system & the carbon locker room

How do we easily explain the climate system? What plays the role of our carbon locker room? And why is a solution mindset important?

Big themes were deep-diving into with Liz Courtney an award-winning social entrepreneur and documentary-maker and the artist in resident at The Earth Observatory in Singapore.

In this episode, we cover how what we do on one side of the world impacts the other side, simple ways to explain our changing climate and oceans, and why we can’t let fear determine our lives.

#045 Her Holiness Guruji Poonamji: on finding her guru then becoming one, moving out of darkness into the light, & avoiding the word hope

How can we move out of darkness and into the light? How can we move out of fear and more into love, harmony and compassion? And how can we unite in a time of deep divisions?

Big themes were deep diving into with Her Holiness Sri Sri Sri 1008 Guruji Poonamji.

In this episode, we cover why its time to be united, reframing our relationship with the light, why the world needs more light warriors, why we shouldn’t use the word hope and much more.

It’s time to live wide awake.

A small note for this episode, we cover some topics that may be sensitive or triggering for some listeners. I encourage you to have an open mind and an open heart. It’s okay not to agree with everything you hear.
