Like Isaiah before him, God told Micah to prophesy while naked and barefoot.

And the prophecy was pretty much the same, including this verse, which is the same in both books: "They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more." (Micah 4:3, Isaiah 2:4)

But then Joel ruins everything by saying just the opposite (Joel 3:10).

There are a couple of other nice things in Micah, saying that everyone is free to worship whatever God they please (4:5), and all that God requires is for us to be good, just, merciful, and humble (6:8).

Another verse that is often quoted is Micah 5:2, which says that a king will be born in Bethlehem. Christians believe this verse refers to Jesus.
