Community Connections with the Children's Services Council of St. Lucie County
By Sean Boyle
Through a partnership with the local radio station, 104.5 The Flame, the Children's Services Council presents a weekly radio show/podcast called Community Connections. Chief Executive Officer Sean Boyle and Chief Operating Officer Ashley Mock host the show each Sunday morning at 10 a.m. The goal of the show is to connect children and families to resources that they may not know are available to them in our community.
Join Sean and Ashley as they chat with our friends at the United Way of St. Lucie and Okeechobee Counties about a new initiative to help parents and students connect with community resources through a Community Partnership School.
Join Sean and Ashley as they chat with folks from EndIt, a program that provides middle and high school students in the St. Lucie County after school programs, winter and summer camps, music conferences and concerts, and more!
Your host, Sean and Ashley, record remotely with new CEO of the United Way, Jessica Parrish. Discussion includes United Way's efforts to address COVID-19 and other resources available for the community.
Your host Sean and Ashley of the Children's Services Council of St. Lucie County sit down with John Cesar of the St. Lucie Reads initiative to explore all the ways the community can get involved in making sure our children are reading on grade level.
