As we conclude our series Resurrection Joy this morning, we’ll see the final post-resurrection appearances of Jesus recorded in the Gospel of John. The exchange between Jesus and Peter is going to highlight for us several important themes that are central to the gospel: Love, forgiveness, restoration, and commissioning.

As we continue our series Resurrection Joy studying through three different encounters with the risen Jesus, we arrive today at Thomas. Fair or not, tradition has given him the title, “Doubting Thomas”. What can we learn from this interaction between Thomas and Jesus? As Christians, how do we handle our doubts? And how should we respond to others who are doubting?

Today, on this resurrection Sunday, we're beginning a new series called "Resurrection Joy", seeing first-hand encounters with Jesus by three different people. For today, we'll be seeing the first post-resurrection encounter of Jesus with Mary of Magdala.

As we continue our series on the events of Holy Week, we move today to Maundy Thursday and the account of the last supper. Today we'll be seeing the heart of a servant as we see Jesus wash His disciples' feet.

We'll be examining two events that took place on Spy Wednesday: The anointing of Jesus by an unnamed woman and the betrayal of Jesus by Judas. What can we learn from these responses to Jesus?

Jesus curses a fig tree and overturns tables in the temple. The following morning, Peter is surprised to see the speed upon which the fig tree withered. What is Jesus trying to teach His disciples (and us) through this?

Today we’re studying two connected events that take place on the Monday of Holy Week: The cursing of a fig tree and the tables being overturned in the temple. The question is this: What does a fruitless fig tree that Jesus curses have in common with the activity that Jesus sees taking place at the temple?

This is part #1 of a seven-week series examining events that took place each day leading up to Easter Sunday. We start this morning on the 10th day of Nisan, which was “Lamb Selection Day” (Exodus 12:3). It also happens to be the day that Jesus, the Lamb of God, rode a colt (a young male donkey less than four years of age) into Jerusalem.

We'll see old man Solomon examining the many wells he ran to, and we run to, in search of meaning and happiness.  Only to discover, at the end of the day, they left him empty. So how can you be happy beyond just the moment? Where's the well that never runs dry? How can you enjoy this life "under the sun" as God intended? This Sunday we will be participating with churches all over the world for the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church.  We'll talk about some current trends, pray together, and hear incredible stories of God at work. Let's stand together with our brothers and sisters all over the world who are being persecuted for simply placing their faith in Jesus for salvation.

We'll be continuing our series Good News People in a Bad News World with Episode #4, "Carrying the Torch Well: Marks of a Surrendered Life," looking at Paul's last words to the elders in Ephesus: "But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God." (Acts 20:24)
