A conversation with Kaye Malins from Marceline, MO. Kaye knew both Walt and Roy Disney. She lives in the house where Walt and Roy lived and spent a good portion of their childhood growing up. You may have heard or read stories and articles about Walt Disney. But Kaye offers a very unique perspective on the subject as she not only knew Walt and brother Roy, but she was actually sought out and hired by the Disney brothers to work at DisneyLAND in California. Well worth the listen especially if you’re a Disney fan or a Disney Cast Zmember!
“Piper” is a story about a trip I made to Canada when I was about 12 years old. It was an adventure that, even though I didn’t know it at the time, would be life changing and impact my later adult life. One of my favorite songs I’ve ever written came out of this. The song is played towards the end of the episode so please hang in until then
This episode is a bit different. I speak of a song I wrote, recorded and produced a few years back about the search for peace. A majestic sounding epic, this is the song I’m most proud of that I’ve written Thus far.
This episode is presented as a little mystery or if you will, in the style of the famous newscaster Paul Harvey type of storytelling: “The Rest Of The Story.” Listen to the end of this short podcast episode to find out who I’m talking about 😜.
