Depression and Business with Georgia Michalopoulou
Join Georgia and I chat about having depression when running a business. How social media can impact us and how we can talk ourselves around when we find ourselves slipping into that dark space.
Georgia's Bio:
Georgia Michalopoulou have worked for more than 10 years in the fashion industry but after the giving birth to her daughter she realised that working full time in Central London wasn't a good fit for her anymore. So she launched her own business called Stylish Mummy where she offers personal styling services and helps women feel and look amazing.

Don’t give up on the first take
Are you working from flow?
Look how far you have come!
I just wanted to drop in today to remind you to look back at how far you have come. Let's try and stop pushing ourselves up a hill as fast as we can and recognise that real change happens gradually over time. So gradually that it can often happen when you are not even looking... this just shows that we can give ourselves permission to relax into life and just allow it to develop in a beautiful way. Remember this is a journey and not a race to to the end.
Do what you can with what you have
Stop hiding and be all that you are.
Consistency and the creative
Nothing is ever going to be perfect, stop expecting it to be
Stop Expecting Miracles Of Yourself
This is not all on you lovely. You have enough to do. Start looking inwards AND outwards and take the pressure off.
It might be a good thing if your business 'offer' flops
Seriously lovely.... sometimes we can thank our lucky stars that an offer flops. This is how I am feeling after putting out an offer for a membership called "The Peacock's Nest" at a crazy price of £20/month. I was planning on offering so much goodness inside and yet NO ONE BOUGHT.
CRICKETS!
Now this is the time many of us reach for the tissues and wonder why no one wants to buy from us and why we are not as good as everyone else who has sell out launches (p.s. they probably aren't!)
However what we need to do is use it as a learning opportunity.
Did we communicate what we were offering? Did we show the right people? Or... WAS IT RIGHT FOR US?
When two mentors of mine saw that I had withdrawn it they both said "YES... THAT WAS TOO SMALL FOR YOU"
imagine if I had tied myself up with a massive group of people who I would want to succeed as much as anyone else I work with for just £20.. My clients pay thousands for my support and guidance and I LOVE working with them on that deeper level. I feel they are all in and I am all in with them. That is where the magic is.
For £20 how on earth could I offer any form of transformation. So THANK YOU for the failure. THANK YOU for the crickets and THANK YOU for the insight which I would have only received if I tried.
Enjoy listening to todays episode and would love to know your thoughts.
