In this episode I recap a week-long ski trip in the French Alps with Ashby and John Wickham! We were in Val d'Isere during our spring break which was the penultimate week of the ski season. This meant the weather was great, the snow was slushy and the apres-ski was unbeatable! It truly was the trip of a lifetime. The terrain was by far the most challenging I have ever been on and trying to keep up with Ashby and John was near impossible because they SHRED!

In this episode, I sit down with Melanie Nogueira from London, England. Her and I discuss how to choose the study abroad program best for you. There are a few important things to consider. Your options may be limited, but it is likely that you will have to make some decisions when choosing a program. This episode will help you make those decisions.

This week you get to meet the man who owns the awesome VW van, Sebastian Götz from Germany. He also is behind the camera in a lot of the photographs used to support the episodes. The point is he’s an important dude. Sebastian and I talk about our ski trip to the Pyrenees at Saint Lary-Soulan, France.

This week, I sit down with Matt Dorrell, my classmate and friend from Luxembourg. We talk about learning a new language to travel or study abroad. Matt knows six languages so he has plenty of experience in this area.

Personally, the most intimidating part of my study abroad was speaking Spanish in Spain. With tips, advice and encouragement from Matt and I, you should all feel inspired to learn or improve a new language and put it to use in a new place!

In the first full episode, I kick things off by sitting down with Adam, an exchange student from Germany. We talk about our trip to Las Bardenas Reales de Navarra, a beautiful canyon in Northern Spain. We also discuss a Spanish barbecue and how it differed from a barbecue in the U.S. and Germany.
