Teen Provides Electricity to Food Vendors in Jakarta: Project Illuminated
Street food vendors are an integral part of Indonesian culture; however, many of them lack the financial means to purchase resources such as electricity to light up their stands. To address this issue, Athena, a current 12th grader, created Project Illuminated with the mission of providing sustainable lithium batteries to food vendors across Jakarta.
