Tahj Mowry: The Humbled Hustler
Tahj Mowry is truly the Smart Guy of Hollywood. Many of us were introduced to him through the character TJ Henderson on Smart Guy. Growing up on video sets with Prince, Michael Jackson, and Mariah Carey would be enough bragging rights for anyone. However when you throw in the numerous acting credits, Peoples Choice Awards, and even being voted People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive, the level of humility and sophistication of this lifelong entertainer is remarkable. We were able to connect with Tahj to talk about his most recent project "Welcome Matt" and the devastation of stress and mental health issues in the male community. We also talked about family dynamics, personal life, and that one time he was completely star-struck when Viola Davis Walked by him.

#Gospel #music has been the sounding voice of hope within our communities and around the world for centuries, and "Undefeated" from #StellarAward Nominated gospel group, Kenny Lewis & One Voice, is no exception.  Lewis is an independent #recordingartist and can encourage his listeners to pursue their dreams no matter their adversities. Lewis' newest album 'Undefeated' debuted at No.3 on #Billboard's Gospel Album charts. Kenny Lewis released his first national project in 2000 entitled “The Bridge” on Marxan/Malaco Records which featured the smash hit “Yes”. This project opened doors for him to travel the nation and share the stage with Gospel giants such as Albertina Walker, Tye Tribbett, Mary Mary, Dorinda Clark- Cole, and Karen Clark-Sheard just to name a few. We were able to sit with Kenny to talk about his journey through music, his family support system, and how he creates songs that change lives.

Generational Wealth, Entrepreneurship, Grief, Sexuality, and Identity are all of the words that can describe "HOMEGOING" Staring Khalil Kain and Malik Shakur. The film revolves around a young man who is in line of owning the family-run funeral home and mortuary that he is currently working at with his father, the owner. However, the son wants something more out of life. Something that he will enjoy rather than feel obligated towards. But, as the old folks say, doctors and morticians are two professions that will always be in demand.

Power to the People: Kinyumba Mutakabbir
Nguvu Kwa Watu(Power to the People) is a one-man monologue short-doc created and starring Kinyumba Mutakabbir. The film creatively expounds upon the plight of black people fighting for justice in America and the 2020 protests. He plans to release this film on the anniversary of George Floyd’s death, May 25th, 2020 and donate a portion of the proceeds to nonprofits that help communities divert their younger offenders from prison and reform schools and instead into developmental programs prioritizing the teaching of crafts, trades, and emotional coaching.

To Heal A Black Man: Christian Price
Christian D. Price is a Master Sergeant in the US Army, entrepreneur, and empowerment speaker who is using his platform to empower and uplift men of color. With over 17 years of service in the military as a First Sergeant and Master Sergeant and now as a serial entrepreneur, Christian is using his experiences to help empower men of color in the areas of mental health, entrepreneurship, and navigating as a black man in today’s society. Too often, healing conversations omit Black Men. In early stages such as childhood, black men are conditioned into “manning up” suppressing feelings which often lead to alarming rates of aggression and anger that carries onto adulthood. Being a black man in today’s society often comes with being demonized, criminalized, and harassed, which leads the narrative of black men carrying anger and doesn’t and won’t heal.
