In episode 156, I got to talk with Steven Smith from the company Vegan Fine Foods. VFF opened their flagship store in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in March 2018, but the journey began long before that. It started in May, 1997. After years in graduate school, Steven gained a lot of weight and his health was failing. That led to the decision to take control of his health, cleanse his system, and get back on track. It led to the decision to change from a fast-food, meat-based diet to a plant-based, vegan diet.

TIMIO consists of two parts: the Portable Digital Audio Player and the Interactive Content Discs that activate the content on the Digital Audio Player.
Unlike other kids' audio players on the market, TIMIO is interactive.

She believes that everyone can make a difference and that one of the most powerful ways to do that is through investing. The World Tree Carbon Offset Program is a sustainable timber investment based on the Empress Splendor tree, the fastest growing tree in the world.
Empress trees provide valuable hardwood lumber within just 10 years. They also absorb 11 times more carbon than any other tree. Participants in the program both offset their carbon footprint and share in the profits, if any, of the sale of the lumber.
