#Tradestalk Mental Health
I've stolen some content from Twitter and used it for my own personal gain. Kind of.
#tradestalk on Twitter has been recently discussing Mental Health so I figured why not answer them via the pod.
Who is your ideal customer? and how do you market to them?
Today we'll quickly go over some thought provoking stuff! Who is your ideal customer? how did they find you and how can you find more of them?
Have a think about the last few jobs you've done and which ones went well and why. Chances are your customer has a bigger impact on the success of your jobs than you first thought.

Web Design and SEO - Whys is more important that Social Media?
Hello, today I wanted to focus a little on why getting your website ranking higher on search engines is more important than social media likes.
Getting ranking higher on Google increases the amount of people searching for your services, they're genuinely looking for your service!
Aim to improve your website for real business growth and get more enquiries and sales before interrupting people on social media.
Healthier living means sleeping better and less stress
Stress and no sleep makes you do stupid shit. Mistakes are made, people get upset and money goes down the drain.
The first thing to look at when things start going wrong is YOU. Are you performing to the best of your abilities? are you stressed out? brains gone to mush? drinking too much?
Calm the fuck down. Stop what you're doing and hit RESET.
If you need help then don't be afraid to ask for it.

Why are you using social media?
I'd like everyone to think about why they're using social media when there are many other ways to actually grow their business. Is it out of boredom throughout the day? do you think you'll become famous? do you believe that social media will grow your company?
If you've answered yes to any of those then put down your fucking phone!
Focus on avenues where you can actually see a return on your time or investment. I'm not saying social media isn't good for a companies brand, but it's not a platform a company grows on.
Trades and small businesses need direct marketing, where you can see a good ROI. Direct marketing is where you pay a certain amount of money and you can see how much you've made in return. Not putting videos out there and hoping that someone somewhere who sees your video or picture maybe needs your services.
How to make a little extra money
What's the best way you can think of to earn a little bit extra?
When was the last time you increased your prices?
If you haven't increased your fees in the last few years you're actually taking a pay cut.
In this episode I wanted to get people to take a second to think about what they're charging and how much they're earning in comparison to the amount of time they spend working.
If you're running around like a headless chicken and you're not seeing a good return then you need to look at how you can increase your price.
Thanks for listening guys and gals, it's really appreciated.
