We are in conversation with Saddam Hussain, captain of the Pakistan National Football Team, and plays for Sui Southern Gas Company in the Pakistan Premier League, and previously played for Kyrgyz club FC Dordoi Bishkek, Isa Town FC, Gençler Birliği S.K. & Khan Research Laboratories, as a central midfielder.  He has previously played for Pakistan International Airlines and led PIA to third place in the 2010/11 season. He then moved to Khan Research Laboratories during the 2012 season and won the Pakistan Premier League and the Challenge Cup in his first season at the club. Later he moved to Dordoi Bishkek during the 2014 mid-season and later won the league title, league cup, and Super cup. He has played for Isa Town FC, Gençler Birliği S.K. and currently plays for Sui Southern Gas.  He made his international debut for Pakistan in March 2011. Watch the full episode here.

Professor Weiss has published extensively on social development, gender issues, and political Islam in Pakistan. Professor Weiss is a member of the editorial board of Globalizations, has been a member of the Research Advisory Board of the Pakistan National Commission on the Status of Women, has been Treasurer and Vice President of the American Institute of Pakistan Studies (AIPS), and is on the Executive Committee of the Religion and International Relations as well as the IDSS sections of the International Studies Association. She recently stepped down, after seven years, from being Department Head of International Studies at the University of Oregon.  


The panel includes Raza Rumi who is a Pakistani writer and a public policy specialist currently based in Ithaca, New York, USA. He is Director at the Park Center for Independent Media, Ithaca College and visiting faculty at Cornell Institute for Public Affairs. He is also the founding editor of Nayadaur Media.  


Also joining panel is Gauher Aftab who has held leadership roles at companies involved in education, advertising, financial services, telecom, and various tech industries. He is currently the CEO of Generation Pakistan, a global non profit that operates training-to-employment programs for youth and adults in 14 countries, across 29 professions.

The city are convinced they are the manifestation of the creatures of Apocalypse, Gog and Magog, imprisoned by the legendary King Alexander.  Musharraf Ali Farooqi is the founder of the publishing house Kitab (2012), launched the online Urdu Thesaurus (2016), and designed the interactive storytelling and activity-based learning program Storykit (2016) as three segments of this project.

She is a Fulbright scholar and received her Master's in Counselling Psychology from Boston College in the US. She works primarily with young adults and adults navigating complex trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, and relational issues. Alina Anjum is a philosophy and literature graduate working with survivors of rape, assault, harassment, and abuse. Her organisation چادر create safe spaces for survivors, and aims to equip them with the tools and language they need to continue talking about their experiences. Michelle Shahid is a human rights lawyer based in Islamabad and is one of the four individuals granted a Justice Fellowship with the Bertha Foundation, undertaking projects which promote Fundamental human rights in Pakistan. Her work includes criminal justice reform through advocacy and litigation. She also has substantive experience of working in cases involving the death penalty. Kashaf Rehman, working as a communications officer and a digital trainer at a research and advocacy organisation working towards digital rights. Previously taught at multiple public and private sector universities. Also an organizing member of aurat azadi march Islamabad and work with victims of digital harrasment in a private capacity as much as I can.
