Sarah Faith Gottesdiener is an artist, designer, writer, teacher, Tarot reader, and the host of the beloved podcast Moonbeaming. Annabelle King has been making mouths drool all over the world with her family's Australian sweets shop. At age 17, she took over the social media presence of Sticky, starting her on a new and delicious path. After nearly losing Sticky to the Covid pandemic, Annabelle has managed to revive and lead the family candy business back to a thriving success with a community of over 4.6 million Tiktok followers (@stickyaustralia) and a store with lines around the block!

I spoke with Mikayla about our experience with eating disorders and what positive body image means to us.

Mikayla Geier brings a unique blend of sensitive vocals, heartfelt songwriting, and imaginative production to the indie-pop scene. The Vancouver native spent her early years training as a ballet dancer, but later turned to music as her artistic outlet. While studying business and ballet at Indiana University, she started pouring herself into songwriting. Her debut single “Deja You” was released in November 2019 along with a self-shot and directed music video. Her undeniably catchy melodies and relatable lyrics have quickly captured the hearts of listeners, and she is excited to continue sharing deeply personal observations on releases to come.

I got to have a chat with Kat Norton (AKA Miss Excel) about how she got to quit her day job and live her dream digital nomad life :D  Kat Norton energetically teaches Microsoft Excel to individuals, businesses and educational institutions. Since launching Miss Excel in June 2020, she has grown a community of over 500,000 people on TikTok & Instagram (@miss.excel) through viral Excel trick videos infused with creativity, music and dance. Kat was recently awarded the Microsoft MVP Award and featured in Business Insider as a pioneer in the "Excel Influencer" space.

I spoke with with Tori Caro about working on Julie and the Phantoms, what it's like to be in the competitive dance world, and much more :)

Victoria Caro grew up in San Diego with her sister, Catherine Caro, and started dancing competitively at the age of 7.  She is recognized for her versatility in all styles of dance from classical ballet to hip hop. She started training in Los Angeles and has assisted several prominent choreographers. Although she has many accolades as a competitive soloist and company member, she thrives in storytelling through movement and media. By the time she was 18, she choreographed her first feature film, short film, TV film and commercial. She made her acting debut on Julie and the Phantoms (2020), created by Kenny Ortega. Melody Popravak is a Professional Boxer waiting to make her debut fight. She is currently the #4 Middleweight for USA Boxing having competed in the 2020 Olympic Trials. During Covid she founded "Hellfire Training Collective", a virtual personal training project dedicated towards exploring the relationship between mental health and exercise. She currently sees clients across the USA.

A lot of you guys asked me about ways to deal with "laziness" and procrastination in my recent AMA on Instagram. This is a subject that I think about a lot in my daily life as well, so I thought it'd be cool to sit down and ramble things out.

I got to speak with Brooke Berry, who's a content creator and senior social media manager at VidCon. We talked about the benefits and challenges of social media platforms like Instagram or Tinder, and shared our personal experiences of handling our mental health on the Internet.

I sat down (virtually) with my friends Eleanor and Abii, who are based in the UK. We ended up recording this extended overthinking episode, talking about our time living together, experiences with therapy, how we deal with difficult emotions (sadness, anger, anxiety, etc.), and many more.

Sinix is a self-taught artist from California.  After discovering his love for art in his twenties, he worked obsessively to become better.  He then worked as a freelance concept artist and eventually began doing design work at Electronic Arts.  After a brief time in the industry, Sinix decided to find his own path and focus on building a YouTube community dedicated to quality free art education.  He is currently working on writing an educational book while also teaching classes at LCAD and Brainstorm
