Is it possible to walk in your own shoes and feel the feet of another as they walk in theirs? How can one look through a window into another's world yet stand in their world before a window? Empathy is not to become as, but to be with. What could that look like?

We often compensate for something, with something. We make up for what may be deficits, missing bits in certain areas of our lives with what we think can make for them. It sounds reasonable and indeed the right thing to do in our goals for growth. The question then is, what are we compensating for? With what? And Oh, the girl on Wannabe Street? She's got some story to tell. Let's just say, she learned some lessons on the streets of Wannabees, that sight does indeed goes before a fall!

When you look in the mirror, who do you see? Do you believe everything you are told about you? Who has the power to measure your worth? Decide the value of your humanity? Is it possible that you might be your own betrayer? Or is it possible to be a BeLiver in, of your own life?

Marriage is a partnership, but what is a partnership in marriage? Are there universal values that guide our relationships or each couple decides for themselves what works, when to walk, if things no longer work? What's a Love Bank? When do we deposit, make withdrawals from our Love Bank?

How often do we find ourselves going back in time, wishing we could change a, the story? Times when events in our past hinders our present because we cannot stop reliving them? We cannot change the past...or can we?

'No', one of the hardest words to give and or receive. What does it mean to say No? How can saying, not saying one word stress one and the same word is what saves one from stress?

Is it righteous conceit or rightful claim? To see oneself in a position of power and place of honor and to live accordingly, in the role and responsibilities conferred with such a title. ***Apologies for some audio disturbance in the recording.

Roads are often used as metaphor for the paths we walk on, the paths we pass through life. We may expect the rough roads to be the most trying ones to trek, ride on, but have we thought about how the smooth roads we travel on, can be the ones with the greatest trials for us? And when we travel on the roads of life, do we ever stop to see?

'Young People'; they seem like different species from another dimension. We can be exasperated, excited, energized, expectant, elevated about, towards, for them, experience a whole range of emotions when we deal with them and or issues related to them. Yet do we, are we engaging with them from places of assumptions and judgement that limit them inadvertently or discriminate against them, damaging their development, systemically disempowering them, dimming their lights with shadows of stereotypes and unjust generalizations? Our young ones are diamonds, do we see their sparkles of light? Do they?

We throw things out when they are no longer of use, sometimes we may fix what is broken in them. Do we do the same with people? Replace? 'Repair'? Where does authority stop, where does autonomy start over, between, in our relationships with each, with one another? We may help with good intentions, but are good intentions enough to help?

You do not get to decide my worth with your unworthiness. You do not dewhumanize me with your inhumanity. ***This episode contains tribute to all women under oppression and everyone in some kind of bondage. It also carries messages to oppressors and all those who unconsciously, consciously seek to and deny, deprive, derrogate, desecrate their sisters in humanity, who are unjust to the creatures of Allah, whose Lord Sees and Hears their cries and calls, He Who Has Power all things, He Who is the final Judge over all.

Labaykala Humalabayk... I hear your Call O Lord...What calls are we hearing? What calls are we answering to? Where do we need to journey to, to find our meanings and purpose in, for life? We will get to points in life where we are invited to take a shot, where we are presented the opportunity we've been waiting, working for, and there's nothing else, nothing more to do, except take the shot. So, we, take, the, shot.

We choose sides that serves particular narratives of power, privilege, inferiority and superiority and leave us, lead us to unhuman, inhumane choices... until...

Our children are not the children we were...they are the children we have in times we are both in...

There are moments of meetings between souls that defy the guards at the gates of our worlds...what is it like to meet in our Soulhoods?

Everyone has a tale, a theory and or a truth...what are her tales, thoughts, troubles, trials, truths? What are her treasures? She is Whuman. She is a Whuman.

Love is what, where, when? Who is our first love...our greatest love... where does love live...

Scars are stories. They are testimonies of life that can make the pain of the past remain a bleeding wound in the present. They are signs of life lived, symbols of why we live. What stories do our scars tell?

We are brought to battlegrounds in life where we will face adversaries with many faces, fight with advocates in many forms...the greatest one, one which can be adversary and or advocate, is our own soul....one of mine was, is my Hijab.

It can get lonely on the journey to being and becoming, not everyone will travel with us, so we seek journey mercies inside and outside of us.

Everything happens for a reason...it is not that we will not feel loss at losing, it is that we may find purpose with the pain...it is that the gain is gratitude...that brings more...

We are given forms that are molded for us and granted the grace to continue to grow in, strive with excellence with our forms and all that it holds of life.
