For Episode 25, Summer sits down with Aaron Rathy, a rider who’s known for his ability to take each aspect of wakeboarding and make it entirely unique to himself. A rider who’s been labeled, de-labled and re-labeled time and time again, but always stayed true to his passion. His goal was never to be a legend, but to push himself and the sport of wakeboarding to new limits. We think it’s safe to say he did both and did it quite well. Be sure to tune in to hear more!

For episode 24, Summer sits down with the 2022 Nautique Wake Series Champion and overall Wakeboard World Series Champion, Cory Teunissen! Cory is known for being a fierce competitor and finds himself in the top podium spot quite regularly. Recently, Cory has joined the Hyperlite team and in a matter of months, earned himself his own pro model board, the Hyperlite Capitol. Tune in to hear more!

For Episode 23, Summer sits down with professional wakeboarder, TV personality and cancer survivor, Alexa Score. Alexa is amazing both on screen and on a wakeboard. Today, she shares her story of being diagnosed with myeloid leukemia at the age of 16, moving out of her small hometown to pursue a life of wake and hosting three different TV shows! For Episode 22, Summer sits down with the general manager of Liquid Force, Don Wallace. Don has been apart of the LF’n family for 25 years and seen the wake industry from all perspectives and angles. Tune in to hear his stories of the brand’s relentless innovation and some of his fondest memories while being a part of it!

For episode 21, Summer sits down with 2021 ROTY winner, John Dreiling. John is well known for his ability to approach the sport in ways that not many others do. Placing a focus on how he can progress not only his riding, but help others do the same. For episode 20, Summer sits down with professional wakeboarder Carro Djupsjö! Carro shares her journey within the world of wake and how the graphic on her pro model board, the Slingshot Contrast, came to be. Fighting through not one but two ACL tears, Carro shares her story of injury, recovery, mental health and of course an amazing comeback!

For episode 19, Summer sits down with the Western Territory Director for Malibu Boats, Chris Loomis! Chris has been a part of the boating community since his early days and a part of the Malibu team for over 20 years! During this interview, Chris takes some time to discuss the innovation and developmental movements Malibu has made over the last 40 years to produce some of the industry's leading wake boats. Lucky for us, Chris shares the inside story on how the Malibu patented Surf System was developed!

For episode 18, Summer sits down with cable park wizard Crosse Bearden. Known for being one of the most progressive, humble and appreciative riders in the sport, as well as for his insane style both on and off the water, Crosse has been dropping jaws since the beginning! We catch up with Crosse to hear his story of creating a name for himself within the wake world, all things Space Mob Crew, the magical place that is Valdosta Wake Compound and what it was like being totally blindsided by the creation of his first ever pro model board!

For Episode 17, Summer sits down with 2021 Wakeboarding Mag Women’s Full Scope Award winner Jamie Lopina. Jamie has been a force to be reckoned with over the past year and she’s just getting started! During her interview, Jamie gives us some insight on the women’s wakeboarding scene and where she thinks it’s headed in the future as well as shares her exciting news of recently joining team Supra!

For episode 16, Summer sits down with professional wakeboarder Nic Rapa. Nic is known for his hardwired, competitive nature and aggressive training style. Not to mention, being a 3X title holder at the Pro Wakeboard Tour. We join Nic in the final days of quarantine before returning home to his family and friends in Australia. Nic shares his story of how his career as a professional wakeboarder came to be, what it’s like riding for Supra boats and how he stays driven, determined and focused on his riding not only during comp season, but year-round.

For episode 15, Summer sits down with Quinn Silvernale for a quick bite and some major wake talk covering all things VWC, Koppert Lake, Space Mob and "The Coalition the Movie the Trilogy." Fun fact, Quinn used to work at Active Water Sports! Coming to the West Coast for not only one but two summers, Quinn shares his story of traveling cross country to be a part of the AWS crew up at Koppert Lake. Quinn also dives deep into what it took to build Valdosta Wake Compound from an idea between him and his college friend Luke Tilt to the park riders paradise it is today. Not only do we get insight on VWC, we also get to hear some spoilers on the newest film “The Coalition the Movie the Trilogy."

For episode 14, Summer sits down with the 2021 Nautique Masters Women's Pro Wake Champion, Mary Morgan Howell! As we all know, this sport takes determination and drive, and Mary Morgan is a perfect example of the “hard work pays off” mentality. During today's chat, she shares her thoughts on the importance of community within the wake world, how closely women’s wake has grown since the introduction of the Moxie Pro Series and how it felt landing on top of the podium at this year's Nautique Masters. To say this girl is on her come up would be a disgraceful understatement… because she’s already reached the top and is still climbing!

For episode 13, Summer sits down with Nautique Boats West Coast Account Manager, Greg Dick. Greg has made a living within an industry he has loved since he started working at his local ski shop at 15 years old. Being apart of the industry for over 30 years now, Greg’s work ethic and determination has helped him grow from sweeping floors to working for HO/Hyperlite and now to where he is today. During this episode, Greg gives us some awesome insight on Nautique’s electric boat as well as what he’s most excited for in 2022!

For episode 11, Summer sits down with 5x world champ, 4x Wakeboarding Magazine Full Scope men’s rider, X Games gold medalist and 2021 Nautique Master’s men’s wake first place winner, Guenther Oka! Guenther shares his story on how wakeboarding grew from a hobby to a rather successful career, what it’s like pushing the limits in both cable and boat riding, as well as his favorite features of his 2021 Axis A24.

For episode 10, Summer sits down with Ben Greenwood. Ben is a staple in the sport and known for his insane style behind the boat, so it’s no surprise we wanted to hear his thoughts on the past and present wakeboarding scene. Ben also worked for Wakeboarding Magazine and we made sure to get the inside scoop on his experience there. Tune in to hear Ben’s top picks of the greatest wakeboarders of all time, best places to wakeboard and his favorite wakeboard movie to date!

For episode 9 Summer sits down with Active’s old pal Silas Thurman. This episode is extra special because Silas got his start in the wake industry right here at Active Water Sports! Today, he shares his stories of riding for Liquid Force, being the team manager for Nike Wake and putting on an event as amazing  as The Wakeskate Tour. If all that wasn’t enough fun, Silas is also a co-owner of Remote Wakeskates and Flat Line Van Co. Be sure to tune in to hear Silas’ story!

For episode eight, Summer sits down with Youtube Legend, JB ONeill! JB shares his story of how he grew his YouTube channel from just a few friendly followers to his now 67K+ thousand subscribers! Not only has JB made his mark in the content creation world, he also just released his first ever pro model, the Hyperlite Freepress! For episode seven, Summer sits down with the creator of the first ever electric hydrofoil and the Lift Foil brand, Nick Leason! Nick shares his story of how an idea he had on a camping trip came to be an industry altering reality. Nick is a great example of what it means to work hard and play harder. For episode six, Summer sits down with the badass and beautiful Meagan Ethell! Meagan shares her story of what it’s like being a female athlete/rider in a male-dominated industry, as well as her message to women in wake everywhere. Meagan has six world championships under her belt and a powerful presence in the wake world. To say she’s a serious force to be reckoned with is quite the understatement! For episode four of Summer Lunch Break, Summer sits down with AWS team rider and the ‘King of Style’ himself, Trever Maur! Trever reveals how he connects filming and riding when creating award-winning wake films like "Al Sur" and "Dog Dayz." Trever also lets us in on what life’s been like as a new dad and just how important nap time really is. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to get stuck in a hotel with Randall Harris, be sure to tune in and hear it from Trever firsthand!

For episode three, Summer sits down with the man, the myth, the legend, Shaun Murray! In this episode we dive deep into Shaun's backstory in the wakeboarding world, from competing to coaching and everything else in between. For episode 2 Summer sits down with the “Most Interesting Man in Wake” Wesley Mark Jacobsen. Wes tells us his story of how he got to where he is now, ripping it up at Valdosta Wake Compound, filming and riding with the Space mob crew and dabbling in the music world.
