Wichita State Basketball (and Babies) - Audrey Korte interviews Taylor Eldridge, DJ Bearfoot and Kylee Sorrells about the Shocker Basketball Season
Catch up on the biggest news at Wichita State this week and stick around for an awesome segment on Shocker Basketball. This week Audrey Korte interviews Taylor Eldridge - Sports Reporter at The Wichita Eagle, DJ Bearfoot - game-day DJ for Shocker Basketball games, and Kylee Sorrells who is a Marketing and Game Day Operations Intern for WSU Athletics, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant in The Elliott School of Communication. We'll discuss what game-day looks like for these professionals, the players and Coach Marshall's sweet dance moves - captured in a viral video by DJ Bearfoot last season. In the interview segment, you may hear some unexpected commentary from our guest's children. Getting all of us together in-studio to record this special episode was a labor of love and we did have to accommodate both a one-year-old and a two-year-old who joined us in the recording studio. Because no working mom or dad should ever be turned away or silenced because of their need to juggle their children, we did our best to make sure that everyone had their say, and the conversation was better for it. Despite many hours of audio editing, at times you will hear babies in the background which is why this episode is called Basketball (and Babies).
This episode also debuts our brand new, original intro and transition music, courtesy of Ramsey Jamaleddine - a WSU senior majoring in electronic communication. Check him out on SoundCloud at https://soundcloud.com/fury-10.
