When it comes to resilience - Forgiveness is a superpower! We deal with our hurts and troubles by forgiving those responsible.  We forgive because we have been forgiven so much. Pastor Adam reminds us that Forgiveness is not fair, but it is just. 

When life sucks and trouble comes down on you, how are you going to cope? How will you 'stand'? How will you remain resilient? Scientists tell us that one of the important elements we need to place in our lives in order for us to have resilience is 'One stable, caring and supportive relationship'. Jesus said the following words: "In this world you will have trouble..." Real life (even the Christian life!) is not a life free from trouble or hardship. However, there are things we can put in place to make us more resilient when the storms come.

Every great thing we see whether it be a marriage, a career, a church or anything else, at some point has a point of conception and we must learn to see beginnings the way God does.
