Q 1: What is the ayurvedic perspective of the virus? A: Ayurveda sees the body as a host for both health and illness. Q 2: How has the pandemic changed your life? A: The Pandemic lockdowns have presented both obstacles and opportunities. Our response will depend on our perspective and mindset. Q 3: What are your clients struggling with right now? A: Its very easy to fall out of sync with the natural regimes which is the starting point of illnesses – Don’t forget to maintain your daily routine and self-care to avoid suffering mental and physical health problems. Tips: Maintain your regular bed time, bathe and wash mouth daily, maintain 3 meals a day and times but adjust quantity based on your activities, avoid incompatible foods and if you cannot avoid you should minimise the intake to prevent serious diseases. Listen to your body. Q 4: What would be the easiest start for everyone? The biggest tip is look after your digestive system using culinary herbs according to your Dosha. Use culinary herbs like: Ginger in warm water. Or Cumin, Coriander and Fennel tea. Basil leaves. These herbs are easy to access and you can add to your diet to keep your digestive fire balanced. You have unique needs so seek personalised advice for your diet and lifestyle. Consider a detox at this time of season. Do a 3 day Fast / Reset before the season changes – see my video on Digestive Reset.
