SM 14 | Dahn Rozario

It is our absolute delight to announce our latest installment of surreal featuring legendary funnyman Dahn Rozario. Although recorded last year, you can catch Dan at this year's comedy festival on the 14th of March with his latest show "white people need to chill out"

Tune in and get down this Valentine's Special for one hilarious ride that we truly loved.

Bio for podcast release -On this week's episode of Surreal we chat with legendary funnyman Dahn Rozario about his life of constant gigging.

Rising to prominence by relentlessly grinding content out on social media, Dahn started off doing caricatures of Melbourne partygoers, such as Fatima at the doof. Since then Dahn started hustling around town performing as many gigs as he could possibly squeeze into a weekend.

A regular now at the Melbourne comedy festival his latest show "white people need to chill" is sure to entertain. It debuts on the 14th of March this year, and we are bloody excited to indulge our funny bones.

Enjoy!

SM 13 | Dirty Pennies Theatre | Danielle Goeder

In this episode of Surreal Melbourne, we get together with Dirty Pennies Theatre's co-creator Danielle Goeder.

Danielle is a queer and non-binary performer, producer, and multidisciplinary artist. They are currently studying for their Master in Arts and Cultural Management at Melbourne University, having completed undergraduate degrees in both Fine Arts and Theatre and graduating from the full-time program at 16th Street Actors Studio.

Their work incorporates poetry, photography, performance, and video, utilising storytelling techniques to illuminate the seemingly mundane and to shine a light on hidden corners of our experience. Their work plays with the diaristic and explores different vehicles for confession.

We are excited to chat with Danielle as they are the first guest we've had, who is involved in film/theatre, being both (Wafflez and Blay) students of the game in our own right, it was a very insightful and fun conversation we had.

Enjoy our latest transmission.
