The latest legal shoe just dropped with the conviction of Katherine Magbanua. A jury just found her guilty of helping Markel's former brother-in-law, Charlie Adelson, hire Miami hitmen to murder the divorced dad of two.   

Charlie Adelson himself sits in jail and could be the next to face justice for Dan's killing. Will Dan's ex-wife, Wendi, and ex-mother-in-law Donna also be charged and tried?

A long, windy investigative road led to professional hitmen hired by Wendi's own brother, Charlie, who now awaits trial for murder. But, are other members of the Adelson family guilty too? Jason Solomon, who runs Justice for Dan says yes.

During his 10-year NHL career, Dan Carcillo's nickname was "Car Bomb" for  for his explosive play. An enforcer, known for protecting his teammates, Carcillo helped Chicago win two Stanley Cup championships with the Blackhawks.    

But, Carcillo's on-ice success came at a great personal cost, suffering 7 concussions, eventually diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome and TBI — or traumatic brain injury.

Things got so bad, this father of 3, tells us he planned how to take his own life -- until he found psychedelics. Today, Daniel Carcillo is co-founder and CEO of Wesana Health, with Mike Tyson one of his most notable investors.

At just 11 years old, he was witness to his father's brutal murder of his mother. He didn't see what happened, but instead heard the blunt-force beating.
